    We had a great visit; the staff at the museum and the cafe were extremely helpful - they even stayed open for us despite being short on staff; really great customer service! The mill and the visitor centre were very well designed, full of interesting information about the mill and the surrounding area. Definitely worth a visit. A tip about the parking : try parking just behind the Anchor Inn at the marina just before the mill itself, to avoid the toll bridge (2 pound charge).

    Great round walks by estuary to see container ships and nature reserve in the other. Plenty of parking and toilets facilities just over toll bridge. Cafe great and Mill and shop but no views from new cafe.

    Lucky to have beautiful weather; perfect short walk if you have young ones and a buggy! Parked in the Ealing car park which is free (toll Bridge is only £1) and then walked all the way round the mill pond and over Bartley water. Ended at the cafe - the ladies in here were so lovely! Food was simple but tasty and just what we needed (I have a 6yr old and a 21 month old). Then walked to Goatee beach and played there for a while. Lovely day out with the family

    A beautifully restored mill with excellent Visitors' Centre. Plus cafe where beans on toast can be had for £2.50!

    An interesting visit to this 900 year old fully working mill and visitor centre. Not huge but interesting. Check tide times as it only runs on the ebb tide. Staff really helpful. Things to do for kids. Gift shop and an excellent cafe across the road with very reasonable prices. Check for Groupon offers. You can even buy flour that has been ground in site.

    Nice day out. The Mill has undergone major renovation. Very interesting History, not just the mill but local area too. A 10 second walk across the road is the mills nicely priced cafe and an activity/history room all part of the same ticket. Lovely walk round the large mill pond and shore front. Local pubs on both sides of the water and church. Well worth the visit.
