Fantastic. 100% must do. I went for the ww2 history the walk was a bonus. Im sure for some that would be the other way round. Its so peaceful there and so lucky to be on my doorstep but also a very popular spot among tourists visiting the new forest.
It’s one of many entries into the New Forest, with easy access to the enclosure paved with solid gravel paths as well as opportunities to explore the woods throughout off track adding great benefit to trail running

Lovely wooded area to have a walk around . Alot of horses to see on the outside of the woods . Good parking around the area. Ideal place to take the dogs for a walk . Everyone we walked past seemed friendly and said hello and stopped to talk aswell.

Great walk with good paths so makes a for a good walk in all weathers.
Lovely place to just wander around feeling peaceful amongst the trees. Great parking and really easy to find from the road.
Great place lots to see dogs love the walk but it does get busy
