I'd highly recommend Mike. He was friendly, worked solidly and did a wonderful job on the carpets. I've got 5 dogs and cream carpets, which is not a great combination in this weather, but he managed to get the carpets looking great.

Mike is an honest and reliable business owner and service provider. There are not so many of 'these' about as we'd all think, or want. We found Abbey Cleaning via an online search for 'Carpet cleaning Romsey' and we contacted 3. 1 didn't reply, and 2 did. We chose Mike because of his almost immediate replies to our emails, he didn't ask for our phone number saying "it'll be easier for you if we can phone" ... Mike dealt with our enquiry in the way and manner that it was clear we wanted. No pushing, persuading, upselling. His estimate based on my inaccurate description of our daughters new house, was very competitive and his final invoice was equally so. I emailed Mike 2-days before he was going on holiday. He would return from holiday 3 days before I'd booked him to clean the carpets in Shelley's house. When he returned from holiday I had to postpone the appointment. Despite the fact that he'd moved another customer's appt to fit ours in, there was no shouting, moaning, complaint ... just a simple, very polite reorganising of the date. We even offered to pay Mike as if he'd completed the work on to the original schedule. "Don't worry about it" he said "I'll invoice you after the job is done. On the day he turned up to the minute as he'd agreed, he was really nice and his manner put our daughter at ease about having a stranger in the house when she was alone. Mike left the house with the carpets looking and more importantly smelling, fresh and clean. A great job, we'd recommend Mike to anyone, and everyone.
