Both of my children attend the nursery and both are very different in their needs. My 1st child is a real mummies boy and we still have the normal bribes on the drop off to not go to nursery- over time and another child later iv learnt that this is quite normal so let this be reassuring to any mums with screaming babies at the drop off. But I can honestly say it's been invaluable. The bonds, friendships and development he has achieved would not have been possible without the staff and activities at KP. My second child is delayed in her gross motor skills and the team have been so supportive. I have daily updates about both children and see how they've eaten and what they've been up to each day. The handover with staff makes me know that they know my children on a personal level and that's all I could ask for.

My little boy loves it here, they do so many activities. Have a whole room dedicated to messy/sensory play. My sons key worker Demi K in the toddler room is amazing, he has only been there since September but has already developed a bond with her and other staff too. Highly recommend you to take your babies here and you can trust that they will be happy and safe.

My little boy has been attending this nursery since July and I couldn’t be happier. He’s been thriving since coming here, one thing I was worried about was his speech before he started here and it’s now come on leaps and bounds. He loves coming to nursery every day and has made many friendships and relationships, with other children and staff. The staff are always there to help and support with anything needed.

My daughter started the Nursey 3 months ago, she has settled so well. The staff have been amazing with her! She loves doing all the activities and we are always kept up to date. I can’t wait to see her thrive over the next two years. Thank you to all the staff in the toddler room.

From the moment we enrolled with kids planet Hanford we were welcomed warmly. The staff here are so very family focussed, interest in you as individuals and can’t do enough to help the children settle and feel part of ‘the family’. Preschool staff have been exceptional with our child. Our child has thrived since starting here in confidence, language and understanding of the differences in the world. We are very much welcomed by wonderful events that staff work hard to put on to celebrate different dates throughout the year. Everyone works so hard nothing is too much trouble. Thank you so much.

Kids planet what can we say? Our children had been attending for 3 years with Hanford Day Nursery and when it was taken over by Kids Planet we understandably had our concerns. As soon as the staff from Hanford Day Nursery left it became a disaster. No work was ever sent home, all the toys and play equipment was removed from the rooms and the children were left unsupervised as the staff 'were too busy' I was also informed 'we are 110% over child to adult ratio. Son came home in nappies that weren't his and clearly not been changed all day due to the red chafing marks. We attended an open day where we witnessed children climbing through a broken window of a shed onto a chair and playing with a sand tray that was empty. Staff made various comments about how the children flooded the toilet area but nothing to stimulate them. No progress reports, app filled in wrong. For what you pay for a Nursery this place isn't worth it. My children will be much happier in there new nursery and achieve much more. They will stop crying every morning and be excited. Good luck to this place they will need it.

We have recently moved our son from this nursey. It changed hands from Hanford Day Nursery and Kids-planet took over. Since the change over there has been nothing but issues. My son is 2 and was the Explorers room. The staff were not welcoming, appear uninterested in being there, and aways gave generic handovers. When his key worker changed, we weren’t told, nor she did make contact to introduce herself. We never knew what my son had been up to that day, he hasn’t come home with one piece of work in his time in that room. We never receive any updates on his milestone or development. The only communication was the monthly invoice email, when they wanted their fees paying. He would come home in different nappies that we have provided the nursery with. Who’s they are and where ours got used…. No idea. My sons 2nd birthday, we sent in a cake for him to share with this friends. At pick up my husband asked if he had a good day and if everyone liked the cake. The response he got was ‘what cake’. My husband had to remind them AGAIN it was our sons birthday. The staff member responded with ‘oh they can have it tomorrow’. - My son doesn’t attend on Wednesdays, which you would think his key worker would know. But for me, that wasn’t the point. The point was it was his birthday that day!!! We also later found out that week, that my son and the other kids never even got the cake in the end anyway and the staff ate it!!!!!!!!! I am beyond disgusted. We decided to pull our son from this setting and we gave the nursery the required notice period as per as our contractual agreement, however as I had escalated the issues to the area manager, we weren’t required to full fill this and my son only did 2 weeks before he moved to a different nursery. Even on my sons last day….. he was handed over…. with absolutely nothing, no work he had completed, no development records and none of the items we had provided, nappies etc. They ‘didn’t have chance’ to get it together. Given the circumstances you would think staff would have double checked to make sure everything were collected and ready - to make up for the precious lack of complacency shown on multiple occasions. If these could not be collected together in preparation for this last day then there is seriously something not right with the nursery. No work to show for his time there….. No photos of the ‘fun’ he had…… No development checks of his milestones or achievements. ……. Heartbreaking as a parent. ……. Concerning as an educator, myself.

My daughter has attended Hanford Day Nursery for the past 6 months. Great team, well directed under the supervision of an experienced and qualified ex-primary teacher. Seen plenty of others and I consider this one of the best in the area.
