   How is it acceptable for a charity shop to charge more than the original retail price for an item that was donated to them for free? I just saw item priced 50p higher than it costs brand new. That’s not charity — that’s exploitation. This raises serious questions about where the money is really going. Charity in the UK needs more transparency, because it’s starting to look like some managers are lining their own pockets instead of helping those in need.
