I have to say how welcoming this restaurant is even for takeaways. Front of house 5 stars. The food is amazing and you often get a little extra. Highly recommended. The price is very reasonable. £30 for three meals which we made four meals. Bargain.

I visited with my mum Friday as a last minute meal, we were the only people eating in at the time as we arrived just as he opened & the owner kindly honoured a taste card offer & was hospitable, attentive & humble. He shared with use stories about the nature of business after Covid & some upsetting criticisms he had received which people weaponised against him in the form of reviews rather than giving him the opportunity to address & rectify whatever issues they may have had. I enjoyed my food, he altered my order especially for me & my only drawback was the korma my mum had was a little watery for my liking, however, she loved it, so taste is all totally subjective. He is the sort of owner that most certainly deserves honest custom as he cares about his customers & wants them to have a positive experience, unlike a lot of other restaurants I've had extensive experiences with. Bear in mind, Hayling is mostly a sleepy town, he's a credit to the community desiring them to have a positive experience.

Worst curry ever! Absolutely no flavour whatsoever. Honestly, the blandest food I have ever had, Arrived luke warm and oily. Naan bread was OK at best.

Just collected a meal for 4 from here. There was a very welcome 10% discount for collection and a warm welcome in the shop. I was also informed that there were some extra bits in the bag. The food was so good and everything was present including the extra bits that were mentioned. (Extra popodums, onion salad, normal salad, mint sauces and onion bahji. After living in South London for 15 years and trying some of the best up there, the food here was an equal mate. Definitely one to try. It did not disappoint

Best Curry on the south coast & Great value for money! We’ve been coming to the Elm Masala for years and only finally getting round to a review. Fantastic curry, better service and great value for money. Everyone must try.

I have been going to Elm masala for over 13 years and still find the service and foods exceptional. They are very friendly, professional and always make sure eveyrthing is OK and you are satisfied. The food is top quality and by far the best on Hayling. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Possibly the most impressive Indian takeaway I've found and I've been to several over the years. Great quality, generous portion sizes and friendly service. Freebies when you spend over £10 and collect with cash. You can order via the website and pay with cash or call to pay by card. Local delivery available. The best Indian on Hayling Island for sure. Look forward to eating in there at some point as have only been in to wait for a takeaway and it looks clean and tidy in the restaurant area. Wheelchair accessible. Tables adequately spaced and comfortable chairs.
