Dinner with friends. Despite the mix up with seating - had two of us instead of four - this was very quickly sorted by Jamie. Staff were attentive, service good and food lovely. Considering what the place looked like years ago the owners have done a great job. Jamie - who we know from his previous employment at a hotel - is a great asset to the business. Good humour and controls the running of things efficiently. We will be back. Thank you.

Superb Sunday lunch. 6th or 7th time eating here. Have tried breakfast, lunches, dinners and roasts here! All have been top notch. Jamie and his team provide a professional, friendly, relaxed and attentive service always. I've just tried a Sunday lunch for the first time here. Really enjoyed it. Lamb was great, vegetables spot on and gravy didn't disappoint. Great spot for food, meet up drinks or themed Thursday nights with live music. I've been staying at Rooms @ 73 for 6 weeks, so had plenty of time to observe/induldge and enjoy the bar and restaurant. Highly recommend.

First time here and can't be more positive. It was very quiet but the staff were very attentive, the food was gorgeous, nice wine and great loos as well!!!

Was skeptical before entering, BUT what a super place! The braised beef short ribs were sublime and the katsu curry vegan croquettes very tasty. The staff were so helpful and pleasant and even the Elvis entertainer was good( against all expectations- so well done to him too!!) we will definitely be going back, stayed a lot longer than we had planned and would recommend giving it a try!

My wife and I had our first visit to Number 73 on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate her birthday. I would like to give 3.5 stars, but because of Google's rating system, that, unfortunately is not possible. The bar itself is very lovely with live music - the atmosphere is very welcoming. Staff is very kind, and they showed us our table immediately. After we were seated, we had to wait 14 minutes for someone to take our order, including drinks. I would've expected to drink something whilst checking the menu. My wife tried ordering a cocktail, but her first (and second) choice wasn't available. We also tried ordering pork belly from the Sunday menu, but they couldn't serve it anymore, giving us limited options. The starters were great, very delicious, but the mains were quite salty (especially after the first few bites). This applies to the fish gratin and the lamb, too. Overall, it wasn't the greatest experience, and there is room for improvement.

What a wonderful bar/restaurant, the food was exceptionally good and the staff were very friendly and polite, the bar is well presented and even the toilets were beautifully clean and warm, the brownies we had for dessert are the best I've ever had, they were warm, dark and not too sweet, I can't wait to visit again.

We went to brunch here hoping it would be good. I couldn't find any pictures of breakfasts in other reviews, so it was a bit of a risk as we are quite picky! Between four people, we had three big breakfasts, with a choice of eggs and one eggs benedict. All four of us rated the food 5*. Great quality sausages, fresh mushrooms and crispy hash browns, alongside eggs, bacon, proper butter, special beans and brown/white toast. The atmosphere was excellent. Decor was fab and gave the place a really nice feel to it. They've even decorated for Halloween. Large breakfast and a drink each came to £25 - a bargain! Would highly recommend!

Food was delicious. The modern decor and seating make the interior feel very light and airy. Staff very professional and friendly. Will return for a visit very soon. Recommend the meatball tapas, Halloumi fries and Lemon Drop cocktails.
