   BEST Cod and chips anywhere in the World!! I am staying at the Premier inn next to this chippy and have travelled a bit, got to be the best chippy ever! food is Fresh, hot and service is 100% , very clean and tidy shop, I will be back next week!! also they have their own App so you can per order and pay which is what I do but they do serve fast if you just turn up. we need more chippy's like this one.

   Trying to make a complaint through Deliveroo since I can not contact this place, my mum ordered the cauliflower, chips and cheese bites since she is a vegetarian. The rest of my family got more cheese bites and my dad got a cod (which was missing) and to make it worse my mum had bit in to a prawn as they gave us prawn bites instead of cheese bites!!! She was almost sick and did not even feel like eating anymore. This is against regulations and a breach of consumer rights honestly disgusting! The staff here are so lazy and careless! This is one of the tops 14 most serious alergies and they have incorrrctly fed it to a customer

   We have had Fish & Chips from here on several occasions. On My Birthday 09/12/2022 We picked up our "Meal" At 6.00pm. We ordered a meal for Four of us. Costing £43.50 In My 76 years this ranked up as one of the most Dire /Rank excuses for Fish & Chips ! The Chips were Large Limp devoid of any colour --Or Taste apart from Oily Fat ! Cheesy Chips!! Never in all my life have I seen such a glutinous Mess Poured over lumps of barely cooked potatoes.. That so called cheese was repulsive! The "Haddock" ? Was So Thin with what little meat was hard & dry the only taste being.....Oily Soggy Batter Yuck ! The White Bait cooked in Batter & copious amounts of oil was totally inedible ! The only items edible were the Fishcake & Jumbo Sausage. A reply from "The Management" at "Buoys Plaice" would be of interest !!

   I visited here on Saturday September 24th. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is impeccably clean. The fish and chips are some of the tastiest I've ever eaten. And a special bonus, a discounted price for OAPs. I will not hesitate to visit again.

   Lovely little chippy we found just before leaving Portsmouth. Got there a little late so no indoor dining but we were allowed to eat on the tables outside. The fish and chips were really good as well as the battered sausage! Definitely wouldn't mind going here again !

   Really disappointed this evening as in the past food from here has been good. Fish was ok but the chips were just dry and tasteless as anything. If I had done a blind taste test I would have said they were yesterdays having been reheated. Comment from family, oven chips would have been nicer. Don't know whether it was a supply issue, a demand issue or what but it was sad as a large part of our £23 ended up in the bin.
