   I went to this Harvester in a big group and our server Maddy was absolutely amazing. She handled all our preorders and made sure they were correct. She was an absolute delight and speaking of delight the bartender Mia was an angel. She was so lovely and had absolutely brilliant customer service. Both of them are an absolute credit to your team though the food was awful the service made up for it.

   We went for Xmas girlie lunch meal today (13th)and it was lovely . If I had to criticise the veg was just slightly to eldenty. But very enjoyable other then that .

   6.30pm reservation, 6.52 orders taken, we went up to the "famous salad bar", no croutons, no carrot, no onion, no sweetcorn, no lettuce. They had pastas of different styles, but very little. We kept returning expecting it may have been replenished, right up to our meals being served at 8.04pm, it had not been in fact, now, the dips, blue cheese and mayo had completely run out too. Others including ourselves had asked when and been told "I'll inform the kitchen". We ordered extra drinks during our meal, and they too did not turn up.! Not a very good harvester, try to use other branches they are way better and won't spoil your evening.

   Had a brilliant visit to the fareham restaurant, the food was excellent but the waitress Mia made the visit superb. Her level of service is a credit to the harvester brand. She was rushed off her feet but still found time to check back with us on the food. Every bit of food was nicely presented and cooked to perfection. Mia asked if we had the app and I mentioned it was my wife's birthday and we already had a voucher, she then appeared with our deserts and a colleague and sang happy birthday. We will definitely visit again, not only for the food but for the first class service.

   Only popped in for a brekkie after two years to give The Harvester another go, thinking it would improve and then we had to wait over an hour and a half for our food. On arriving the ladies gave a friendly smile/welcome, took our seats and ordered our food, all being good so far. When the food arrived my husbands large plate with over done sauces, black pudding and hard yolk eggs along with melted butter that had to be pour on the hard toast. My husband wrote a review only for the answer to come back with " you should have asked for the manager, well I called over a lovely lady only to ask "should MY EGGS be like this (photo attached) not mentioning the burnt/overdone bacon, the lady replied "definitely not" and went to get more eggs, only when they arrive looking more like fried eggs and by this time the rest of my food was cold! However we ate most of the food due to a long day ahead. The eggs benedict is the worst I've ever had and won't be coming back again. Although the lovely lady couldn't apologise enough.

   Took advantage of the 50% Off Discount. Food arrived on the table and looked amazing! However it was far from amazing.. Sweet Potato Fries (a £2.50 Upgrade!) were Stone Cold. Burger was okay, but lacking any flavour. Ribs were the worst I’ve ever had in my life.. Bill still came to £30.. so glad I didn’t pay £60! Won’t be returning anytime soon, which is a shame as this is not reflective of the staff, who were great!

   Visited after receiving a promotion email, so decided it was a great opportunity to have a dinner & catch up with a friend. The food was great, although they were incredibly busy and my first meal choice wasn’t available the waitress suggested something else, the service was excellent.

   Visited today having received a discount code online, and this was our first visit in some time having had some average experiences at other Harvesters. Today our experience was amazing, and it was mostly thanks to our server Annie. Like many others we miss the self-serve salad bar, however today was the best experience since Covid where we actually enjoyed the self service setup. Annie served exactly what we asked for (and even a little more) with great enthusiasm and a big smile. Harvester you have my support to keep the Salad bar staff-served...on the condition you staff with with people as excellent as Annie each time!!
