We spent Sunday afternoon at Artyβs, and it was one of those meals that fills more than just your stomach β it fills your soul a little too. The Sunday roast was beautifully done β tender layers of ham, rich, silky gravy, vibrant vegetables, and that golden Yorkshire pudding balancing perfectly on top. Every bite tasted like care had gone into it. For dessert, we couldnβt resist going classic β I had the apple crumble with custard, and it was exactly how it should be: warm, nostalgic, and comforting. Across the table, Alasdair had the chocolate brownie with ice cream, rich and indulgent β the perfect finish. What made the afternoon truly special was Julie, the owner. She came over to our table with the kindest smile to congratulate us on our upcoming opening of Dollyβs Vintage Tea Rooms. That small gesture meant so much β a reminder that in this busy world, thereβs still such power in simple human kindness. Itβs moments like that which make a place memorable β not just the food, but the warmth, the connection, the shared joy in celebrating lifeβs new chapters. Artyβs isnβt just a restaurant; itβs a reminder of why we love what we do β creating spaces where people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. β€οΈ A truly lovely Sunday, and one weβll remember. ββ¨

Really lovely quiet little place, not many customers so it was lovely and tranquil. Ordered chicken ceaser salad, crayfish salad and posh chips. All were beautiful and taste lovely. Salads were around Β£15 each while chips were nearly Β£5. Staff were smiley at entry, helped us with our wobbly table leg (good old beer mat!) and checked all was good with food when we were eating. We dined outside, views were lovely if you walked over to the sea wall for a look.

Lovely setting on the waterfront. Quick and efficient service. I had the falafel wrap, side salad was nice and the chips were good. The wrap itself was a little dry. However the staff are really friendly. Would visit again but chose a different meal.

Massive thank u to the team at Artys, I held my husbands 40th birthday party at the venue and everything was amazing. The food they put on was out of this world and decorations we stunning. Everyone had an amazing time. I would recommend artys to anyone thinking of holding an event. A* to Julie for making this happen

Delicious food- good quality and fair prices. Have visited here a few times. Usually busy which is good (reflects popularity) and yet no long waits for food or drinks. Friendly staff. Ensured all our needs were catered for. Would highly recommend.

Sadly for the first time I did not enjoy my meal at Arty's. I tried a new pizza on the menu with pulled pork which tasted like and had the texture of baby food. Also my dessert of sticky toffee pudding the sauce left an artificial after taste, nothing like sticky toffee caramel? The fries were very nice and plenty of them. Service was excellent. Hopefully this was only a one of experience and down to poor menu choices.

Awesome food, fast and friendly service, a good range of drinks, a cool location (we could see HMS Price of Wales and the Spinnaker Tower from just outside) and reasonable prices. What on earth else could you want? The salads and pizzas were especially good (and large).
