   The members of staff are very friendly and helpful. I recently went into the store to buy a gold ring and I found that the staff were very patient , polite and helpful. I’m seriously blown away by the service I received . The ladies working there didn’t mind my endless questions. They didn’t mind that I was I being indecisive they didn’t pressure me into making a choice they didn’t tell me to go home and think about it and come back when I made a decision like other stores have done in the past instead they were very patient and brought out lots of different gold rings for me to look at they let me try all the ones I liked on they let me put a few different rings on my hands at once . When I said I’m not sure what type or style of ring i wanted they explained what the different styles of gold rings that were available and they made sure i was well informed about the different rings before i made my mind up .

   Took my watch in for a new battery and got given a deep scratch on the back of my watch and no new battery, very upsetting as was my grandfathers. Brought it back in later as I had noticed the scratch and got laughed at and told I’d need to pay to fix it. Whiles I appreciate it’s a he say she say situation and I should’ve noticed when I got it handed back, I don’t appreciate being laughed at about it. Very poor customer service.

   The most shocking service ever! I bought my jewellery from the previous owners Paynes who were a family business & their care was amazing. The company Ramsdens who have taken it over gave no care at all!!! I have had a terrible experience with this company, getting a repair done & constantly getting let down & they were full of excuses, as to why it wasn’t ready for collection.. Finally when husband went to collect my jewellery it was given to him with no bag !! & when he asked for one they gave him the tinest plastic sandwich bag ! I was so shocked I would not recommend this jewellers ever !!!! Shocking CST & no care at all!

   RIP off merchants DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SELL YOUR SCRAP GOLD OR JEWELLERY HERE. Called in get just to see what their scrap gold price was, I gave the lady 10gram of 9ct gold for a price, 10 mins later she returned and said £80!!!! I nearly laughed at her but kept my composure, felt a bit guilty has a old couple were being ripped off for their jewellery I should have said something but I kept out of it. Just be careful times are tough and this rip off place is offering less than half gold price.i went to jemini at the sovereign centre and he gave me £145 same gold. A decent honest jeweller who wont rip you off like this place. Warn your parents, granny and friends, people are selling stuff to survive.
