Drove 3.5 miles each way to get my favourite chicken pesto and avocado pizza, got home and they've forgot the avocado. Bit disappointing.
According to the information on the menu page, all bbq and grill dishes are served with a mixed fresh salad, a choice of chips or rice, and handmade bbq sauce. Either you are misleading people in this way, or the dish was incomplete. I ordered bbq pork, served with shallot onions, mushrooms, (one mushroom cut in half) peppers (are those fresh vegetables?) and apple sauce (I really tried to taste this sauce, unfortunately there was none). Everything tasted heavy, everything bathed in oil. I had the impression that I ordered in fast food. To be honest, this is not what I expected from Italian cuisine. Not satisfied, the cuisine needs improvement.
So very disappointed ordering from here for the first time. We normally order from Hot Italian Pizza which is great quality and good value for money every time, but decided to try this place because it goes under the name ‘Vivace Bistro @ L’italiano Gourmet Pizza’ on Just Eat, and Vivace Bistro in Hessle square is delicious. Ordered a mixed bbq grill and it was shocking. 2 measly pieces of chicken, 2 scabby pieces of lamb and a dot of dried out pork is a joke for over £15. Food arrived almost cold and a normal garlic bread arrived instead of the garlic bread tomato/pesto that was ordered. Phoned up to complain but didn’t get anywhere. Won’t be ordering from here again. Do yourself a favour and order from Hot Italian Pizza instead. Infinitely better. (The photo was taken as soon as I opened it. I haven’t touched anything, that’s how it arrived)
Food arrived roughly when it should have, but the quality was really lacking. Ordered the L'Italiano Burger, which arrived semi-cold and in a brioche bun that was rock-hard around the edges. The salad in the burger consisted of a very second hand, brown piece of lettuce and a slice of tomato. The burger itself was dry and bland, with a measly offering of cheese and a solitary slice of Chorizo. My partner had a pizza which had been shown a picture of some cheese and tomato, but that was about as close as it got. The bacon was just the bits you trim off for the bin. To top it off it was cold, despite being 3 min drive from the shop. Do not recommend.
Hi there I ordered from this takeaway tonight the food was excellent and the prices are very reasonable the service is excellent and the staff and delivery drivers are very polite and helpful would definitely order from here again.
Just got our takeaway 5 minutes drive for delivery down the road it was cold and got calzone only 1 filling of meat init chips in a tiny bag not another for 1 person will not be ordering again
