   Visited today in a group of three, spending just over £60. The restaurant has a lovely setting, and most of the food delivered well on both flavour and portion size. The pizza was generously sized and the onion rings stood out as great value, especially considering the portion you receive. The only real drawback was the burger. Even with cheese added, it arrived much smaller than expected and was finished in just a few bites, which made the £14 price feel out of proportion to the portion. Overall, the visit had several strong points, with this one item slightly affecting the balance. A tweak to portion consistency would make the experience feel much more aligned with the rest of the menu.

   The menu and food is amazing, better than any Italian (or Mexican) restaurant i have visited in the last 5 years. The location and venue is very good. Its dog friendly too!! Saturday 1pm it deserves to be busy, hundreds of people walking by, looking in. Only 3 tables in (all reserved). I saw 2 parties walk in sit down and walk out after 10mins because restaurant had 1 member of staff front of house covering the bar and waitressing (who were busy) so they did not receive any welcome or table ordering service, or presence to order at the bar. Update, on visit 3 now and service has improved!!

   As a new employee in a nearby depot, my new colleagues showed me a tempting photo of their lunch from this hidden gem. Intrigued, I visited the next day. The serene atmosphere, thanks to its seclusion, was perfect for a peaceful meal. I enjoyed the outdoor seating on a warm 28-degree Celsius day. The loaded chips were not only presented beautifully but also burst with flavor, exceeding my expectations. I'm excited to return and explore more of their delicious offerings. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for great food in a tranquil setting!

   We called in for something to eat when staying over in Hornsea. We won't be back. The atmosphere was of thst eating in a rowdy pub. The service was non existent unless you asked for it (getting up or shouting them over) and the food was so very mediocre. The food either came out cold, burnt, not as we asked for it or with zero flavour. Left a bad impression at the end when we went to change the kid in the disabled toilet where there was a cupboard open then was like a mini basement with mops etc the kid ran straight at, and the fact there was no hand drying facilities. When pointed out to the manager about everything we were given a sorry and thst "ooh you're right theres no hand drying in there".

   Bit worried after viewed some reviews but the food was great and reasonable price. Only slight issue was the music which I personally did not like. Still that's my opinion.

   I attend here twice last year. I had used it in the past and the service was good. First visit last year good quality, second visit, and shortly after prices started to rise they stuck £2 per meal on as a sur charge. Last week I took my sons there for his birthday as the restaurant we had booked telephoned to say that they had sold out of certain dishes. On arrival at med mex we ordered drinks and sat at a table, most of the chairs need to bee repaired. Once we ordered they told us that they were out of a lot of the dishes. I asked why they had not told us this when I made the reservation, no answer. The service was slower than a funeral, the food not what you would call hot, the chips instead of the home made ones that they used to serve are now sub standard to even McDonalds. Total third class. I would try the Chinese across the road. Its gone from hero to zero in under a year. Rubbish.

   The restaurant hosted my daughters 40th birthday party on Saturday 5th November. It was a total success due mainly to the level of care, attention and hard work of the staff from the owner to the barmaids the extra mile was run by all!. The food was beautifully presented and the area decorated by the staff. The cakes made by friends and family were accomodated too. Faultless service by superb staff. Thankyou!!
