   We came here as it was recommended to us by family. The decor was very nice and the service was very good i couldnt fault it. There was some items on the menu that wasnt available but that was ok. The poppadoms and pickle tray was very nice and tasty but the rest of the food was dreadful to say the least. Everything was bland and not tasty at all. Biryani both on the bone and off were flavourless and the veg curry that it came with it didnt make it better. Other food was oily and the chipati was dry. Portion sizes where ok but the price didnt really match the quality of the food. Also the venue is cash only. I do like the concept of bring your own bottle that was different and nice. Considering how quiet it was and given what i heard i expected so much better. I dont think i would come back again

   First time trying this place. My partner used to frequent in the 90s with his late father and it was his first time back there since he passed away. The food was amazing, the service was great, couldn't of been more helpful if they tried. The atmosphere was great, it was valentines day so all the lights where low, heart balloons on every table and what I'm assuming was romantic Indian music playing through the speakers. 10/10, would recommend and definitely will be back.

   Wasn't sure what to expect 25 years after our last visit here. Was a regular at Ray's Place back in the 80s and 90s. This was the first visit since moving to West Yorkshire in '96. So glad we came. Staff really friendly and the food was really good. Very tasty and not greasy at all. Brought back lots of fond memories. Thank you to Yusuf and the team for a really nice evening.

   Brilliant food as always, really looked after our party of 9 for my birthday on 26th may 2023.... Even gave me a birthday cake and sung happy birthday to me which I thought was a night touch. And all the new decor looked lovely. We'll be back soon as always.

   I've been promising my wife I'd take her to rays place for ages so she finally got fed up and took me. Great friendly atmosphere and great food. We ended up having to take desert home with us for breakfast the following day!
