Another brilliant meal, always a warm welcome here. Special mention of our server Azam and the guy that greeted us who had a baby daughter not so long ago(forgive us, we didn't know your name) Is one of my wife's and mine favourite places, we had a Cobra Pint Beer,Strawberry Cider for drinks. Pickle tray with 2 poppadoms, Chicken Tikka starters x2(small portions but very tasty. My wife had her usual loved Chicken Korma and had a Mixed Masala with chips, garlic rice and garlic naan all to share Brilliant value for just under £66 ..we gave 70 with tip. Get yourself here if you fancy a good Indian you won't be disappointed

This is the first time we've used The Madras it was my husbands birthday what a lovrly evening. The staff were so friendly and helpful food was excellent and service was grzeat. The mrnu had a great selection without being too much. It was vell labeled for taste (spicy mild to - very hot) and allergies. There was a set menu for £14.95 a children's section the prices are very goid including the drinks. I had an issue wifth the menu (i wear glasses) and wasn't sure if it was the size of the print or the brightness that made it hard to read i used the torch on my phone and for me it was the lighting so if you go and have a sight problem then be aware of this. We will be returning again

Good service but with variable food quality. Naan bread was excellent and starters good apart from very tough lamb tikka. Some mains not great... watery and tasteless. We've had much better elsewhere for lower price than we paid here.

As always, an absolute pleasure visiting the guys at the Madras. Me and the Mrs have been dining at the Madras for years and decided to visit again on Saturday for our anniversary. Greeted by lovely staff who always make you feel welcome, the restaurant has an authentic, relaxed atmosphere and is a pleasure to dine in. The menu has been updated since our last visit and one thing I would say is that the spice ratings which are colour coded are a little difficult to differentiate in the restaurant lighting, we were fine but other customers may struggle. Our food was superb and full of flavour and the portions sizes were perfect. We had a mixed sizzle starter to share which was more than enough for us both not to spoil our mains. We both opted for a Curry which was perfect, the spice just right for us both. We'll definitely be visiting again in the near future, the Madras never let's us down and restaurants like this are hard to find.

We decided to pop in for our evening meal at short notice and were seating immediately. The restaurant had ambient lighting with faint music in the background with lovely decor. The staff were attentive and the food was phenomenal. From Sunday to Thursday there is an option of choosing from a set 4 course menu for £15 which had an extensive choice however we decided to opt for a few specials from the standard menu. We waited approximately 15 minutes and were asked by our lovely waiter if everything was to our liking. Everything was cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. The location isn't fantastic but that doesn't detract from the restaurant itself. Will definitely visit again!

Came here on Saturday September 25th as it opened. We were served very promptly by a very friendly waiter. The food was lovely, very well cooked. We were always kept up to date about the state of our order which was a nice touch. Very reasonable prices as well. Only problem was the ladies toilets. When I went in the toilet doors have a massive gap around them so you can easily see out into the bathroom. I know only ladies would go in there but it is a little uncomfortable to find there’s a large enough gap for people to see into, hence four stars and not five.
