Amazing food, the tastes are deep and full of flavour. Our first time but will be definitely return. The decor needs a face lift ie old wall paper peeling off and no table covers. This does not effect the food quality. Don't forget to bring you wine or beers!

Ordered a takeaway at 19:11, spending £90. By 20:07, I called the restaurant and was told the food was only just being made! On top of that, I was put on hold while the guy on the phone was clearly busy dealing with other customers and I was forgot about (little bit like my order) The food finally arrived at 21:05, nearly 2 hours later. The delivery driver was at least apologetic and mentioned they’d included some free food to make up for the delay. However, when we opened the order, we were missing a curry and a rice, so really, a meal for a meal and no free food at all. We called again, and the restaurant said they’d send the missing items out. The “missing food” eventually arrived at 21:35, but of course, it was wrong. To top it off, the food wasn’t even enjoyable. Everything was overly spicy (even the rice!), the dips were poor, and the portions of meat were tiny, was very greasy, Honestly, the only thing we enjoyed were the popadoms. Overall, an awful experience from start to finish. Won’t ever be ordering from here again.

I've been in the UK for two years now, and I've never had lamb biryani that tasted this authentic. It was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that left me more than satisfied. Highly impressed—100% recommend!

We've been looking at new places to try in the area and decided to give this place a go. It's in a popular area with several other local restaurants. Based on this we made sure to book a table in advance. Well worth the trouble as it was busy and pretty full when we arrived. It was an interesting and different menu, offering Siri Lankan and South Indian food. While there was plenty of meat options, there was also a strong vegetarian showing as well. the actual quality of the food was great very tasty and enjoyable. The service was good and friend, and we didn't wait long considering how busy they were. Price was good as well. Only slight letdown was the noise level, lots of people tends to make a place louder, but it wasn't helped by the booming background music.

Once again POP DOMS food was amazing, fresh cooked, extremely tasty, service crew very efficient. Can't fault anything, the place was busy, we turned up without a booking and we're welcomed and accommodated. The place got busier, the quality of service and food never altered.

Visited for the first time this week. And from my experience it was all first class service . Really pleasant welcome on arrival. Lovely decor nice atmosphere, Very helpful staff especially with the menu as we werent sure what to get . Food came quickly which was delicious and hot. Staff are attentive without bothering you too much. we will definitely be going back to work our way through the lovely menu! If the service we recieved is like that all the time the restaurant will do well!

Perhaps the most mediocre veg curry I've ever had the misfortune to taste. I was really looking forward to some Sri Lankan food, instead I got frozen packet veg and a firey basic sauce. Add to that, possibly the most expensive 1/2 draft lager in Hull (£3.75) and there was my night spoilt. Having said all that, the guy running things was really nice and he gave us a free dosa whist we waited which was actually very good! (shame about his rude staff when we tried to moan about the prices)

Really nice, authentic food. The staff were excellent and very keen for us to have a good experience. Fantastic for vegetarians. My mutton curry was perfectly spiced and delicious. I will be coming here again.
