   We’re staying at Raywell hall lodges. Rang to place our order and they were very polite.The food was delivered within 30 minutes and the delivery man was also very polite. The food was excellent and this is the second time we have had a takeaway from So Wok and we were not dissatisfied. We would recommend to all and we will be ordering again when we’re at Raywell hall in the future.Thank you

   Ordered here for my first night in a new house. It was very quick to collect and the food was great and very well priced! The portions were also really big which was good. The only complaint I would have would be the vegetable spring rolls, and would recommend to not order them as they only contained cabbage and spring onion. The rest was fantastic though.

   I’ve been ordering from this Chinese takeaway regularly, especially on Friday evenings, and it has never disappointed. The food is always freshly cooked, full of flavour, and you can really taste the quality in every dish. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I usually spend around £30–£40, and more often than not I’m treated to a little something extra like prawn crackers or spring rolls — such a thoughtful gesture that keeps me coming back. It’s easily one of the best takeaways in the area, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who loves great food and great service.

   I’ve had a lot of Chinese over the years and even worked in one for 5 years but I’ve never seen a Chinese as oily as this. The beef satay had an oil shine to it and was the texture of water, no flavours to it really. The chicken in mushroom again no better, same oily shine to it and only tasted of salt. The only thing slightly better was the yellow bean dishes, this was a thicker sauce but didn’t really have much flavour aside from the spice. Onions were so rubbery they weren’t edible and the noodles were just wet. I’m the type of person to eat chow mein straight out the tub cause they’re usually so flavoursome and yummy. But these were just wet and limp and tasted of nothing. Was really disappointing overall and I can’t say anything was enjoyable. To know they’re happy to serve that amount of oil in food is shocking, for the price and the quality of the food I wouldn’t recommend. Only edible thing we got was the prawn crackers

   We originally bought a delicious take out from the restaurant on Hallgate not realising they had a takeaway round the corner, as it was our anniversary and we'd had a few fizzes we gave SoWok a try. The staff were very polite and understood my wife perfectly despite being half drunk. The food arrived very quickly to Little Weighton, the delivery chap was very polite and professional, the delivery charge was very reasonable too. As for the food, it was delicious! We ordered far too much so have just finished it off tonight and it seemed even better! I highly recommend SoWok and we'll definitely be ordering from them again very soon.

   One good meal one very bad The pic is chicken batter balls which was awful overcook batter and very dry chicken Worse sweet n sour I’ve ever had!!!!! Took the roof of my mouth off! Plz tell me u don’t know when the balls have been in fryer to long? You could bounce them off the floor!!! I know times are hard but seriously what chef would serve this rubbish up !,, The second dish was ok obviously been made fresh For the prices you charge shame on you so wok!,, Won’t use you again Be warned!!!!!

   DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS CHINESE! First of all the customer service was awful; we were spoken to so rudely on the phone. Secondly, we had to wait nearly 2 hours for it to be delivered and last but not least our food arrived and it looked absolutely revolting. The chow mein did not even taste like a normal chow mein, the chicken was under cooked therefore we did not eat any of it and they forgot one of our dishes! Please do not waste your time and money! Below is a photo of said ‘chicken chow mein’.

   Extremely rude delivery woman, takeaway was all greasy and cold, no sauce with bbq spare ribs and they where extremely dry. (Picture of chicken curry below) We called to complain, a bloke answered and was very rude, so took it back, they was rude again and argumentative. So went to see the manager in the restaurant who understood and agreed with us about the food, gave us a full refund and said next time order from the restaurant it’s noy the first time they’ve had this from the take away. Have eaten in the restaurant before and it’s always been great.
