The experience at Chao Baan is absolutely brilliant...why? The food is cooked all 100% fresh and is incredible, particularly the fish cakes, chicken satay and the sharing Pad Thai, as we had. Steve is a great host and the rest of the staff are very attentive. There are only 5 tables so it's a cosy experience with an open fire. We didn't have any but the cocktails looked top notch too. The little touches are very well thought out, like small chocolates as a complimentary sweet at the end. Would highly recommend this little gem! Thanks Steve!
Great service and atmosphere - superb and authentic Thai food. The real fire in the front area tops off the experience in winter.
If you love Thai food or have never tried it before I highly recommend Chao Baan. The owners and staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The food is amazing. I recently discovered my new favourite cocktail the "Cherry Bakewell" Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Amazing and delicious food, served in a unique and cosy environment with a great host. We all tried a mixed starter (chefs platter) which everyone seemed to enjoy and was really varied. The mains were equally brilliant, but make sure you read the menu properly (hot really does mean hot). The presentation of all of the food was equally impressive. All in all, a great night. Would highly recommend, we will definitely be going back. (party of seven, all adults, preordered food, waited less than 5 min per course, all food can be seen being cooked fresh, great value)
