   Always order from here, the food is always quickly delivered and hot, we have ordered quite a few different dishes and never been disappointed. Our favourite Chinese takeaway. Every Christmas Eve for the last few years we have a get together with friends and they always insist on a takeaway from here too so it’s now become our Christmas ritual.

   Whilst starters were large they were just basically vegetables and pastry deep-fried very greasy not particularly nice with no sauce whatsoever The ribs were tough and leathery because they have left the internal sinew on the ribs not very nice we ordered salt and pepper chicken but received chicken in curry so we phoned up up to request the salt and pepper they did replace the curry but this took this took nearly 40 minutes we ordered Kung Po chicken with cashew nuts very bland had some chilli in it but not tasting of chilli so I think the Chilli was more chilli powder the salt and pepper chicken when it arrived was soft and rubbery with no chilli not much salt not much pepper certainly no Chinese five spice pretty Bland and basic and all this cost us £33 looks like I'm going back to the Jade River

   The first time I ate something from here, I must have been nine years old. I used to get the sausage and chips every time because I was always picky with my food. When I was old enough, I started collecting it for my family instead of it being delivered. Both the lady and the man were always great and lively. Lovely too! I played with their children a few times since we were similar ages. I would sit on the Church wall opposite the Chinese with my friends and wait for it to open, then we'd buy bags of chips and go to the park to sit and eat them. I've moved away since to Barton, and we still order from here, always will. I moved to Glasgow briefly and always missed their food, even in Glasgow no Chinese food could compare. I'm glad to be back home, and I'm glad to be able to still order from them. Their food is made fresh with passion. They're a business, yes, but I'll always have memories from them. I wish the people owning it would never die so even when I'm in my seventies I could quickly call them up for a delivery. No doubt, the food would still be awesome.

   Really disappointed with my meal, and was sent an extra dish that I never ordered, which also turned out to be horrible. So bland, yuck, wrong order and over charged. Very disappointed and has put me off trying anything else from there.

   Salt and pepper chips... I took back... Chips with spring onions, one peice of fried onion one strip of fried pepper. When I say one, I mean 1! Loads of spring onions in a tray of soggy chips. Ordered chicken balls and was told not to because they are doughy so I asked for them to cook them longer they did. Still raw and doughy. If you don't like your own food don't sell it! Best bit I was told that's how they did it and it was my fault for ordering it! Avoid.

   Very nice food. Had plenty of vegetarian options which I was pleased about. The egg fried rice was nice and dry, not greesy. It was good to have a variety of different veggies in my chilli and garlic main.

   While the service was good the food itself was not up to the standard of others in the area. I chose a dish denoted with one chilli for heat and it was far too hot. I regularly eat food which they denote as 2 chillies so something wasn't quite right.
