Wow, Thali lunchtime special is to die for. Both vegetarian and meat options available. Very reasonably priced, staff are so polite and professional.
Wow! We have lived in a Brough 5 years now and gutted we have only just found Ruthvika. We have been for a normal meal, buffet and most recently had take away. Every time the food has been absolutely beautiful! A cut above anything we have had in the area. Everything is pipping hot (even the takeaway). The flavours differ per dish and are an absolute credit to the chef. Can highly recommend! The prawns and fish dishes have always been so fresh and cooked so well. My favourite dish being the prawn curry. We were hesitant to order the takeaway as the restaurant was such a high standard and didn’t want to take away from that but should never of worried…the takeaway was restaurant quality! Red hot and a great price too. Perfect for when we got home late but wanted a nice meal! And packaged so beautifully. Cannot recommend enough….even down to the wine! Can recommend the Chianti!
We visited for lunch on a weekday. It wasn’t busy, so the service was attentive and prompt. We ordered the vegetarian thali along with a few drinks. My son didn’t enjoy the mango lassi, as he felt the yoghurt used wasn’t fresh. The thali offered a good variety of dishes and was filling enough for one person. One suggestion would be to replace the potato curry with a dal for a more balanced meal.
Had a lovely dining experience at Ruthvika fine dining this evening. Our waitress Isabella was excellent and attentive and really looked after us. I recommend the Hydrebadi Lamb Biryani as well as the Persian Nali Gosht. Thank you and we will see you again!
The best and fanciest authentic Indian restaurant in Hull. The price has recently been a little high, but it's worth it for a birthday or a special occasion visit. They change their menus every few months, but their biryani, lamb curry, and mango tart are must-try dishes.
Attentive staffs. Delicious food. Great location for a dinner before taking night ferry at Hull. 6 minutes (2.3 miles) from Hull. Highly recommended.
The stars I’ve given, are as generous as their chicken pieces in Chicken kharai. I literally got 2/3 pieces in the curry & charred but uncooked peppers. NO highchairs or baby changing available which is unacceptable. Prices are on the higher end, considering this review.
Possibly the best restaurant in Hull. A bold claim but having dined here since reopening we don't go anywhere else for a great curry meal. The lunchtime Thali is amazing. Great value and absolutely delicious. Railway lamb; husband's curry choice, is always on the money and the variety of meat free dishes for me are amazing. The mushroom rice and garlic naan are also fabulous! Table service is 100%. Always a nice welcome. The surroundings are beautiful as well as clean. All facilities are always clean. Parking is always available down Wilton Street or Thomas Street during the day/evening. Or park in the bus lane opposite after 6.30pm. No obstacles to dining at Ruthvika Dine.

Probably the best Indian restaurant in Hull. Everything is really tasty & authentic. The chef also made everything a bit Spicer for us on special request. They have good number of veg options. Good ambience & not that expensive. The Manager was really lovely to talk to. We normally order the food from Tapasya a lot but we loved the dine in experience too. Definitely coming back !!
