   We both went to this place for dinner today and the experience was fantastic. The ambience was warm and welcoming. The staff were caring and curated the menu as per our taste. The food was delicious and the portion size was enormous. We ended up ordering for more and happily packed the leftover. It was an awesome experience, will surely recommended it !! Thank you Bengal Lounge!

   Bengal Lounge in Pocklington is a charming restaurant set in a lovely building with tasteful décor and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent throughout - attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about ensuring a good dining experience. While the setting and hospitality were spot on, the food didn’t quite hit the mark on this visit, lacking the depth of flavour I’d hoped for. That said, I’d happily return to try a different dish, as the overall experience and ambience make it worth another go.

   Had a few great takeaways from here and finally got around to going in last night for valentines. Staff were so friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and we will definitely be going back!

   We made an order over the phone tonight. We didn't know it was incorrect until we arrived home. We called them up to let them know. He then abruptly told me my other half ordered what he gave me. I disagreed. He then said that it was my fault for not opening up the curries at the restaurant and checking them. He then commanded that I take the curry back intact and he will give me a refund. By this point I could not be bothered to go back. I wouldn't have minded so much if I actually liked the incorrect curry.

   Lovely service and excellent staff!! We came here for my grandmas birthday and the staff were absolutely lovely, they couldn’t do enough for you. The food service was amazing and fast, even considering we had ordered a range of curries and sundries. Each and everyone of us enjoyed our curries and would happily visit again. The staff came out with a little dessert and candle for my grandma which was a complete surprise and was a lovely gesture. All in all we were all very happy with our food and our experience was made even better by the staff. If you are ever in Pocklington or near by, I would recommend visiting this restaurant. I know I would visit it again.
