   Visited this mexican restaurant last Sunday. We originally planned to walkin to another restaurant but no luck. We are a group of 11 people and it is not easy to serve us without reservation. Fortunately the staff of this restaurant is very kind and they were willing to move the table settings so as to serve our needs during the peak dinner hours. The restaurant is quite full. 30 minutes after our food order, the staff brought us 2 nachos dishes which were not in our order. This is free to us as the food serving time took longer than usual during the peak hours. Thanks for the little but heartwarming gesture. Indeed, the food was also served within 20 minutes after the free dishes. love the steak and rib combo and whole rib dishes. Every dishes are with generous portion. The steak was medium rare cooked which was exactly what we ordered. It was tender and juicy with nice grill on both sides. Pork rib was well marinated. Both dishes were served with rice, onion ring, coleslaw, corn on the cob.... We enjoyed the food very much. Highly recommended!

   Staff really friendly. Food portions are massive and really competitive on pricing. For a family of 5 our bill wasn't even £70 despite everyone having a maim course and 4 of us having 2 drinks each. Really enjoyed our experience.

   Stayed in Malton over the weekend, tried a few different places around (with not much success in terms of good food) and really enjoyed El Gringos. Flavourful food, delicious cocktails, steak was properly cooked. “Hot” chimichanga options was vey mild, but I guess it depends on your heat tolerance.

   We went as a group of 5. The food was extremely good quality, and there is plenty of it! If you ate before 5:30pm you got 10% off the bill too, which is great; think it worked out to about £10-15 per meal. My partner got the rack of ribs which were absolutely amazing, and I got a tower burger which was also super tasty. The food came fairly fast and the service was also great. I would definitely recommend, as it has improved over the last couple of years.

   We’re here on holiday and had a takeaway from here tonight and it was amazing! The portions were huge, the burritos etc all come with this rice side, with a little salad, salsa and coleslaw too. The flavours were so good too! The staff were also lovely when we were picking up. When we’re next back this way we’ll definitely be ordering from here again. Such good value for money!
