Never thought I’d be reviewing subway but here we are. I accidentally ordered from this one instead of King Edward street so my hopes were already low from their JustEat reviews. I literally had to chop up my own veg at home because I got 3 pieces of pepper, 6 slices of onion and barely any sweetcorn. And I swear they’d ran out of sauce because that was the driest subway ever, luckily I got some dips with my order which were meant for my nachos.

This is no doubt the most expensive Subway in town. The same meal deal is 90 p cheaper in other shops. Additionally a very slow service. Not recommended.

Ordered for lunch, waited an hour after placing for them to bother ringing to say an item was out of stock, food was delivered 2 hours after ordering and completely cold

Worst food place I’ve ever been to in my life. The staff can’t speak a word of English. They don’t know what’s in each sandwich and have to get you to point out what you want. Coffee machine and refillable drink machine don’t work and only have about two choices of drink. Tried to charge me double the price to find out the card machine doesn’t work until you try 4 times. Would have been quicker slaughtering a pig and making the bread myself. Needs shutting down or a stick of dynamite.

I've been here before and it was ok, but the choice of meat free options has been reduced. I'd seen the meatless Philly advertised, it looked nice and the idea is they now have some options where you don't pick the fillings so it should be quicker. Inside the store the Meatless Philly was listed in 2 places. After waiting for 5 minutes in the queue I was told it's not available. I understand that there may be ingredients shortages but this is the second time there was no stock of the meat-free option. I was offered the veggie pattie but on a street with many other sandwich options I didn't bother because it's not the value for money it used to be. The customer in front of me was told the the coffee machine is not working. It just seems like little effort has been put in to get different options, or to blank out unavailable options on the in-store signage.

The guy in the store was so unhygienic. He touched bacon and then served me chicken sandwich with the same gloves. His meat counter had flies on them and he didn’t bother minding it. Poor customer service and had to wait for a long time.

Disgusting service, rude on the phone ,terrible sandwich a piece of cheese and the sandwich was squashed . And then blamed me. And they said they don’t mind having a bad review,

Had a quick lunch on Saturday last week. Quick and quality conversation with quality customer service. I’ll definitely come back again.

Gluten Free ★☆☆☆☆
Staff had to be prompted to change gloves and oven sheets when preparing gluten-free bread. Likely unsafe to eat here for Coeliacs, as they use the same spoons for all topping regardless of what bread they use, which then touches the bread before going back in the pot, thus contaminating it.

Amazing staff. I can't fault them at all. Always friendly. Went in today and she was bubbly even thou the weather was dreadful outside. A really great service and always visit when I'm around that area.
