   Season’s Art Class Wanted to share my thoughts on this amazing programme. It takes place in a great venue in the clubhouse at Congleton Football Club. The venue has super kfacilities and good light to work in. I’ve taken part twice now and thoroughly enjoyed the experience both times. Stephanie the organiser makes sure that all participants have everything required at each lesson and is very helpful and encouraging. Alison the teacher is generous with her knowledge and shares all her ideas and techniques to help each individual be successful. The 3 hours each week absolutely fly by and it amazing to see how varied the interpretations are at the end of each lesson. Super fun.

   I started the autumn class in Sept 25 as a complete beginner in art. Steph who runs the classes is great, really helpful, nothing is too much trouble. You can also buy art supplies at a great price. Alison is a skilled tutor and makes classes fun. I've really enjoyed meeting people and enjoy the painting process more than I thought possible. If its something you've always wanted to try - don't hesitate!

   Steph and Alison at the Congleton classes were friendly, welcoming, helpful and supportive from the minute I arrived on day one, as a nervous novice! I did art o level 44 years ago and haven't done anything since then..I was anxious that I'd be the worst in the group!! I needn't have worried! Under Alisons expert tuition I have seen my skills really improve and I'm actually proud of what I produced! A lovely class of similarly minded people..I've made some new friends and learned new skills...so I've signed up to continue in the new year! Thank you ladies!!

   Being retired i found i had time on my hands and decided to get into art. Since school (where I didn't do well in art) I have only created one small watercolour and 3 drawings so as I'm a real beginner I took the plunge with Seasons Art in Congleton. Very glad I did - it's very well run by Steph and Alison and the course material was well thought out. You have to provide paper, pencils, ruler, eraser yourself but paints and pastels are supplied in abundance in class - as are tea, coffee and biscuits to help you through. Alison is lovely and an excellent teacher and very good at all the media. Steph also is lovely (never without her signature beaming smile) and provides all of the materials. Alison demonstrates the techniques etc by projecting her phone onto a huge screen making it easy to understand. She is quick to answer questions and to advise on anything you're struggling with. So I can heartily recommend the class if you're contemplating joining - it's a fantastic introduction to art amongst a group of like minded folk (my class were lovely and we had some great laughs). My only tiny criticism is that being a slow learner I would have liked a little more time on the real basics - but hey there's a lot to pack into 14 classes and I'm very proud of the work that I produced.
