Always very friendly staff, including doctors and nurses. Plenty of parking including a couple of disabled spots.
Very poor service! My 10 month old had a bad cough for 6 weeks. We had numerous trips to see the doctor & kept being told he’s fine & to see how he is in a couple days. We went to see an out of hours doctor in Aberdeen as his cough wasn’t getting any better & was in a lot of discomfort. Turns out he has Croup! How did these doctors at Stonehaven medical centre not see this?
Never had a real issue with the surgery, the econsult system does work, I always get a call back that day if I get it submitted in the morning, often seeing someone that afternoon or if not, the next day. If you want to speak to the same doctor each time then you will wait, but if you just need to see someone then the doctors, the nurse practitioners and the physio are all available without too much wait. Yes, they are always running late, and yes the reception staff brusque, probably from dealing with needlessly hostile people all day.
We recently moved to Stonehaven and have been impressed with the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. Registration was quick and easy on line and we received routine colon cancer test kits within a few days. The surgery followed up to check on our prescription requirements and arranged a telephone consultation with the practise nurse which was very positive. The only minor nit - which isn’t the surgery’s fault - is the awful software that collects blood pressure readings in the self service booth in the lobby. We are pleased and grateful to be registered here.

Would give zero stars if I could after the way we were spoken to at an appointment today. Absolutely disgraceful people that are meant to be trained professionals too. Definitely looking into moving practices after today it was the last straw.
We can’t thank the drs and nurses at Stonehaven Medical Centre enough. They have helped us with the illness of our little daughter (12 mo old), who had 40 degrees temperature during our travel through scotland. Although there was no child care doctor at the Center, when we arrived, they organised us help within one hour. Thank you so much, the Austrian family
I can’t thank the drs and nurses at Stonehaven Medical Centre enough. They have supported and helped me through what has been an incredibly challenging illness and time of my life. Everyone at this practice have been my absolute heroes. All who were involved in my care went above and beyond to try and help me. Ive sadly moved away from Stonehaven and I’m going to miss everyone here and the help provided from the group. Thank you to everyone who stood by and supported me. Alix
We have been registered with this practice since 1989. The staff have been wonderful.. Doctors.. Practice nurses.. District nurses and receptionists. They have went above and beyond for us.. Especially when my husband was at his end stages of life... I feel total respect for all that were involved and I will never forget it. Certainly would have struggled without their support
