   ⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Disappointing Experience We visited this newly taken-over Italian restaurant on what was their first night re opening, despite them heavily advertising online and generating a lot of interest. Unfortunately, the reality was an absolute disappointment. From the start, the service was poor. No allergy checks, no wine poured at the table, and staff were rude and dismissive – we were called “guys” multiple times in a really pushy manner. We were pushed into making an order when we hadn’t even sipped the wine. Nothing felt professional or organised. We waited over an hour just for starters. When they finally arrived, the girl bringing them over started putting dishes down while asking, “Is that right?” She then told us it was her first day, but even so, my friend had to point out that you should still know what you’re serving when you work there. The starters themselves were underwhelming: • The prawn cocktail was basically lettuce with a bit of sauce. Had to request cutlery to eat this. • The caprese was tasteless – just tomatoes and mozzarella with no seasoning. A very small portion, see photo. • The mushrooms were far too salty and the portion tiny. The mains were even worse. Firstly the girl almost dropped the whole tray of lasagnes in the floor. I had to catch them. The lasagne was almost dropped on the floor with no apology, and when it arrived it had no plate, was boiling hot, dry, greasy, and bland with too many layers of pasta and fatty meat. No one cleared plates, no check-ins, and every table around us was waiting endlessly for food and drinks. To finish the night, the girl asked, “Hi guys, was everything ok?” I replied, “No, not really, it wasn’t.” Her response? “Oh, fair enough.” No apology. No concern. Nothing. For a restaurant that had built up so much interest online before opening, this was a huge let-down. Bad service, chaotic staff, and food that doesn’t come close to acceptable standards. We won’t be returning.

   Fabulous. We honestly didnt know what to expect, just wanted an italian and it was reallY very very good. The food was all home cooked and done to perfection. Staff were lovely and it was buzzy in there. Honestly, i thought they should put hteir prices up at least 25% and it still would have been very good value for money.

   Had my 22nd birthday party here last night, 24 people and it was absolutely amazing Tina and Jess couldn’t have looked after us anymore they was absolutely amazing from start to finish, food was absolutely amazing and everyone loved it, couldn’t recommend a place more!

   Really great find. Seems like it might be the nicest place in town, so I was happy that we could squeeze in before their dinner rush. Excellent food, although we did not realize that the meats would come without any sides at all. Luckily they rustled us up some seasonal veg in a matter of minutes.
