Food took 3 hours to come and when it came it tasted like somebody smoked 50 fags into it superwoman was the best takeaway when Peggy owned it now its gone down hill
Very unhappy. Was waiting 2 hours for my food that I already paid for and it didn’t even turn up. Unable to get in contact with the restaurant and kept saying the phone line was busy
Ordered Crispy shredded chicken but they make it like sweet and sour whole chicken pieces The chicken and bean sprouts looks like grey death on my mums plate and the chicken was like cardboard and dry Since changing hands it has gone down hill Won’t go back The fortune cookies gave us a laugh Empty packet No fortune in one 1/2 a fortune in another
Just had a delivery from them the food was excellent really tasty and hot will order from them again
Absolutely brilliant. I went to the takeaway because I wanted to order but take part with me and part delivered later. Not a problem to them at all. However Internet was down but they let me take the part order anyway and I managed to pay later that evening when the rest was delivered. Im very impressed. Food excellent. You get good portions and its hot. Delivery persons are also very friendly. Great around service.
It just awful Chinese takeaway. All the chicken was pink and blood in it. Chips was all stuck together. The egg rice was all cold and feel like was eating Stones. The staff was so rude and said it's not their fault the food is bad. Sorry I won't be given another penny to this Chinese takeaway.
Prawn toast was spongy and didn't have much taste, spring rolls had a really strange taste to them. The chicken and sweetcorn soup genuinely tasted like water. Fried rice was ok and the chicken satay was ok. The main dishes seemed to be better compared to the smaller starter things we got, which seemed to just be reheated.
Absolutely rancid, the food smelled like wet dog, the noodles were mushy and drenched in this awful sticky liquid, (I ordered plain noodles) the so called ‘duck’ I was served in the so called black bean was just fat and skin, 2/3 pieces of actual meat in there, the sauce was almost see through and resembled a very salty cheap gravy. The delivery driver was great however and came back with another dish after I called and complained, he was super friendly too, I’m actually writing this while having horrendous Diarrhoea due to the god awful food! If it weren’t for my partner ordering without telling me, we’d never have ordered from here and never will again for sure! If it was possible to give 0 stars I would, thanks for the mild food poisoning super wok, maybe your chef will learn to cook properly at some point! DO YOURSELVES A FAVOUR AND ORDER FROM LUCKY STAR HOLDERNESS ROAD!!
ordered my take away food came with bits missing rang up they said it would be sent straight out 20 mins later rang back they still had not sent it out so all the food was cold when it finally got hear
I live 2 minutes away. I mostly order curry sauce, Noodles and chips and go into the shop. Never waiting long. Cash only. The curry sauce is different. If you like it with a kick, then this is the curry sauce for you, its not overly hot. Its not mild and tasteless either.
