Thought I’d try D&F for a change as I was in the area. Called in & ordered a meal, waited around 15/20 minutes, so fairly reasonable. Lots of meals cooked for delivery. Had a chef’s special tomato dish which was very nice. Had chips too but wasn’t keen on those, tasted a bit like cardboard!
It's the best takeaway we've tried. We use to go to Superwok for years but it's gone down the drain badly and also costs far too much especially if u want a delivery. The beef curry and chicken curry is brilliant, the curry reminds me of Jimmys that use to be on bransholme, I never thought I'd say this but D & F is probably the best I've tasted in my 60yrs.
This used to be my favourite Chinese takeaway, however it started to go down hill about 12 months so I switched to the Wok and Chopsticks. However, W&C closed for 2 weeks holiday so went back to D & F Kitchen, big mistake! The spring roll was swimming in grease, and I mean swimming, to the extent it had leaked through the paper and was dripping into the bag. They delivered one wrong main course and it was not just unidentifiable it was also inedible, the other meal was just bland and tasteless. I rang to complain, however I would have had more response from a 2 year old child, no offer a replacement meal, no offer of a refund, never again for me.
Arrived after an hour and a half when ordering at 6:30. portions were smaller than usual and they forgot the rice. Rang to complain but may as well have talked to the wall, would’ve got more sense.

Food average and worst thing is after spending £40 food was delivered cold . Very disappointed

The Best Chinese In Hull Fabulous food! Tastes just like Chinese dishes should taste. You need to try their food if you haven't already. Absolutely delicious. The spicy Singapore noodles and chicken with ginger and spring onion will blow you away. Thank you Derek and Fiona. Chris and Sharon.
I ordered from here for the first time a couple of months ago. Me and my family didn't like it. The fried rice didn't even look or taste like it should. We thought the other dishes where a bit to greasy and none of it taste as it should. We got quite a few different dishes. I was very disappointed as the reviews where great. I won't be going back, the only reason I give it 2 stars is because of the service.
