I googled Tesco’s store in Newcastle, Co. Down to check the closing time on a Tuesday night. The web site stated 10pm. When I arrived at 9pm the doors were closed. Then I seen the signage outside, it states the closing time is 9pm. I think the person in charge of the website should get their finger out and update the times. I thought it was 9pm closing but checked the website to be sure. Wasted journey. Not impressed.
If you visit on the right day at the right time then the shelves are usually filled and have good produce. Store is clean and staff are friendly
A reasonably well stocked store. Parking is good but difficult at busy times. Only one entrance/ exit, ( one entrance blocked off?) which means a walk to enter and a push with goods on leaving. Staff are friendly. The fruit and vegetables are fresh and well presented. A good selection of cold meats and cheeses. Check outs now have barriers which can make it awkward with trollies.
It's a great place to shop I only live up the road so I can walk The staff are very helpful and friendly. When asked for some items the advisor walked me to the items Thank you Tesco Newcastle

Always well stocked very well presented always well staffed at tills and always staff available at pay and go tills and staff are all very pleasant
Excellent really welcoming friendly store I only rated it 4 stars not 5 because the lady behind the still forgot my boyfriend phone top up she made a quite serious mistake on the till but it was soon rectified and sorted out I got a big apology from her. I forgot her name but would definitely go back to this store again if in area. Lovely staff very welcoming and excellent service fast service didnt have to wait long in queue
