   Called as a last minute thing for a bite to eat and it didn't disappoint! The customer service from start to finish was perfect, the food was gorgeous (I had the mixed grill, with Onion Rings and Mushroom Sauce...Other sides and sauces are available) and the portion size was value for money. Id highly recommend Doc's and will definitely be back ❤️

   First time here and boy did we enjoy it. The chicken Thai red curry with rice poppadoms and a chutney, amazing. The sweet chilli chicken with asain noodles was equally amazing. Nice and spicy. The atmosphere in the place is nice and relaxed. The staff are very polite and the place is really clean. Very reasonably priced. Will try the breakfast tomorrow. We went back for breakfast and it was really nice. My wife had sourdough toast with scrambled eggs and bacon. I had American style breakfast which was pancakes fried eggs,bacon,sausage. 2 teas and it was very good. Thanks

   After long hiking in the the forest, we looked for a place to have a dinner. We found many options. We walked around and then found Doc's. It's one of the best resturant and food I ate in my life. ( almost 50 years old and been in more than 20 countries around the world). Our plan was just a dinner, but it became a great food and resturant experiences. A place you may drive for more than 3 hours, just to enjoy the food again.

   Had 2 meals here today… cod and chips and Doc’s bacon burger. We also had onion rings. We had one of our dogs with us so we sat outside. Service was brilliant and staff were really friendly. Food came quickly even though they were really busy. Queue was out the door which is always a good sign. Reasonably priced too. Would definitely return and recommend.

   It took quite a while standing just inside the door before someone came over to seat me. Staff did see me but I suppose they weren't the ones seating people. Food was really tasty, excellent meal. Delicious. The server did ask if I wanted any ketchup or mayo with my main and I asked for some mayo. Got the bill and they charged a pound for it. Bit cheeky really, I was there for a sit down meal. Its clearly not going to break the bank but when they offer and then do a bit of a sneaky charge at the end.... that didn't sit well with me. Food was lovely though to be fair.

   16.50 for this? Absolute joke. Wanted to try the Mexican food. Wont be trying again at those prices. 9 quid for a burger? Was nice but not be getting again as not worth 16.50

   Stopped in when staying in Newcastle, level access and highchairs available, bathrooms available. A lot of families present. Staff were lovely, even though the waitress was extremely busy we never once felt rushed and they provided good service. We enjoyed our food, mine felt like there was a lot of peppercorn in it. I did not mind that much however, be warned if that's not your thing as my husband thought the same and he had a different dish as well as to ladies at a different table who stated the same but they could not take it. That said I enjoyed my meal, I didn't finish only due to the large proportion size. I would eat there again
