   We came here recently, ordered a variety of pizza/pasta. We were charged extra for every pizza. Young Portuguese lad on and said pizzas didn’t come with toppings (yet said toppings listed on menu) described on menu and also tried charge for spicy chicken but it only had a few chilli flakes sprinkled on. I also felt uneasy as to the way he undermined other younger female employees. Food was ok, one pizza was incorrect and had to be sent back. Food was ok, but not worth it for the price. Service from Portuguese guy wasn’t good at all, younger female servers were trying their best.

   We just happened to pass by and thought we would try it. We loved it so much we've made a booking to go back next month. I had the bruschetta with gamberi, absolutely delicious followed by gamberi, gnocchi and a courgette puree. I cleared my plate!! The pizzas that my family had were also delicious. Sorry no food photos as I was just busy eating!!

   Three pizzas had way too much cheese and barely detectable other ingredients. Chicken in cream sauce with mushroom had a bone in it and very bitter aftertaste. Very overpriced for mediocre food. Potato skins looked just like fried up peelings. Still I suppose it avoids waste. Will not be back.

   We were able to get a table for two without a reservation and received a warm welcome, great service and thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic meal at a very reasonable price. Certainly worth a visit if you are in Newry.

   Last minute decision to book a table at this restaurant. Best decision we made for a Saturday evening. Sapori Italiani offered authentic Italian food that was cooked to perfection. Additionally, the restaurant is beautifully situated next to the water within Newry City centre. The interior design is also very contemporary with a touch of class. The most notable aspect to our experience here were the extremely friendly staff members. Will definitely be returning here soon to explore more of the menu
