Disappointing experience all round. Service very slow with wait staff having to be reminded of things multiple times. Hostess was quite rude when asked about sauces available with the steak saying “it’s just peppered sauce as it says on the menu” in a very condescending tone. It does not say peppered sauce on the menu. Steak was also a bad cut and very fatty which was disappointing for £39. Also asked for the steak rare and it was much closer to well done. Old fashioned seemed to just be a cheap whiskey which had been watered down. Bill came to just over £200 which I personally think was quite overpriced for four people with one drink each and one person only having a starter and no main, especially considering the subpar quality of the food.

I visited The Percy French mostly (entirely) to see the Game Of Thrones door but found it to be the perfect cosy little gem on a winter's evening. I'm travelling for work and thus I was dining solo. This can often be a lonely, awkward experience, but in fact I had a wonderful time. With a pair of crackling fires at either end of the bar, good food, and a pleasantly old-world ambience, The Percy French felt like a comfortable home-from-home. Special mention must go to my server, Amy, who was the paragon of good hospitality. She was welcoming, friendly, and went out of her way to make me feel at home, despite it being a pretty busy shift by the looks of it. Amy was the essence of hospitality and I can't speak highly enough of her. The food was great too. Simple yet classic pub grub. The burger was fantastic!

Our family visits NI regularly and a meal at Percy French each holiday. Unfortunately in 2023 and 2024 we found the prices higher than we recalled and the food didn’t match the increase made. This year we just went for drinks. The service in the bar was very good, we were happy with our drinks, and it was so relaxing to just sit in the quiet and chat after a busy day.

Another wonderful meal at Percy’s. Friendly staff, good food and a welcoming atmosphere, not much more to ask for.

Visited Sunday afternoon, they have no draft beer or Guinness as they ran out of gas. Asked for a Kilmegan cider, none of that either. Every table was dirty with empty glasses and bottles. Settled for two bottles of Peroni at £5 each. Rip off, clearly very badly managed.
