terrible service, walked in after seeing a pair of shoes in the window i wanted and was not greeted or offered any help. the only member of staff stood near stock room ranting on the phone and ignored us when we approached the back of the store!
Grand service today from Katherine in Chichester and the Horsham Branch. Xmas gift boots were too small, but a free replacement pair were sent to Chi. Sadly, I didnt care for the hard leather, but found a replacement pair of softer leather boots. The store didn't have my size in stock but the new boots will be delivered in 10 days for free. Throughout the process all the staff were friendly and helpful, and today Katherine put through the refund and replacement promptly and with a very friendly manner. Spot on service with no dramas :)
I purchased 2 pairs of shoes and a handbag on 27 September but when I wore the loafers for the first time (walking from a car park into a restaurant) I found on my return home that the grit on the asphalt surface was embedded in the heels of the shoes. I returned to the shop with the shoes only to find the place closed for refurbishment. So I returned again yesterday, 2 Nov, and was told that I could not return the shoes as I had worn them. In this country our statutory rights entitle the customer to a full refund for faulty goods if returned within 30 days and I shall be taking this up with Head Office. However all I want is that the shoes be reheeled with a stronger material.
Excellent service from the Chichester branch. Boots ordered in store and delivered promptly to home as they didn’t have the colour I wanted in stock. There was a price problem but the staff courteously and efficiently resolved the issue and phoned me to advise so. I was impressed that they dealt with it promptly and kept me informed, as promised. I will definitely use this store again.
Not happy with service at all. The Chichester branch didn't have the boots I wanted in black so a pair were sent from another store to my home. I was was told 5 to 7 days, they arrived 13 days later. When I took them out of the battered box I found one of them was a regular width fit and the other was a small fit. Needless to say I won't be buying anything from this company again. Don't even deserve 1 star
Very poor experience, we bought a pair of boots, which broke on the first day my wife wore them.. it appears the quality of the buckles is significantly below the level you would expect at the price we paid. We returned the boots, but decided to exchange for another pair as my wife really liked the look of them, which their systems would not allow unless we recharged the credit card and then charged it again, so a lengthy wait there.. We were promised that the boots would be into the shop a couple of days later, but they were not, and we were not informed. We said we would like to cancel, and were told that we would have to do this through their customer service hotline, not through the store. The store representative could only defend the situation by blaming the other staff members, and took no responsibility for appeasing or correcting the situation. Not one of their processes appears to cater for the interests of the customer. - poor quality shoes, poor quality in store service, and very disinterested 'customer services' hotline
Wife tried to get a pair of shoes in Brighton......no luck. Rang Chichester who had the size as the shoe was not available on line. Very helpful shop and a happy wife.
Great experience, staff friendly and knowledgeable. Had never really been in before, but found exactly what I wanted. Very happy with Jones, and will be going again soon for some winter boots.
