Good exotic pet shop, and the only independently owned one in Aberdeen. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable about the specific needs of many reptile species as well as the live fish & birds available in-store. Lots of reptile accessories and food available.

Bought my first tropical fish from pass gave me some great advice. After spending a lot of money on this set up Iv then decided to buy a marine tank from pass. So currently on set up with this. Gave me good advice and helped me along the way. Long way to go.

I went to this shop to buy a budgie 4 days ago. Whilst choosing a bird, I noticed a dead budgie in the cage. I notified a staff member, who immediately removed the dead bird. I asked how the bird had died, being concerned a virus had killed it, and having two budgies at home already, I didn't want them infected. I was informed the dead bird had been decapitated by the other budgies. I decided to go ahead and purchase a budgie that caught my eye. The new budgie seemed in good health until the second night, where it's character and behavior changed to being lethargic and isolated. The next morning the bird was dead. Today (Monday) one of my original birds, who I've only had for one month and two days has also died. My concern is, was the original dead bird in the shop really decapitated by the other budgies, or did it die of a disease, which also contaminated the bird I purchased four days ago, which then contaminated one of my original budgies. I still have one bird alive, but I want them in pairs, to keep them sociable and happy. I'd be a fool to go to this shop again after this experience.

Useless, placed an order, chased it up to be told that I had requested it be held which I hadn't. They agreed to ship the next day then just cancelled the order with no warning. Absolutely useless company!!!!

Been to the shop twice now and both times ive been disappointed. No prices, or even description of the fish on display. Lots of dead fish, turtles and frogs floating in tanks on our first visit and the live food was all dead

Pass aquatics have always been a fantastic shop. They typically have everything we need and if not are more than happy to get stuff ordered for us. We have bought many brilliant fish from them and they often have different fish in too. Staff are always very friendly and make us feel very welcome. They always give very good advice too. It’s an added bonus that dogs are allowed as our little dog loves to look at the fish and he’s often given nice treats by the staff. I highly recommend pass aquatics for other fish keepers of any experience as they cater for beginners and advanced. The shop has also recently started selling dog stuff too which is brilliant.
