    A pretty nice place. Came on here first with doubts because there was an off-putting smell. But the staff weren’t bad, got seated right away and got a check up making sure everything was good, took about 10 minutes for all 3 of us to be served, the coke wasn’t freezing like the machine says, but it was cool enough. Quite a nice spot, it has a nice design and decorations that really fit the Chinese aesthetic. I’d recommend this place to try, because maybe I’m just biased. Would I come back? Maybe, but not for a bit anyway. Especially until they fix that smell…

    Had to give 1 star as 0 stars isn't possible. Worst place ever always wrong food would swear curry was gold dust got litterly a spoon full over my wrong order will never be back wud advise people to stay away also as its not a one off it constantly happens place should be shut down. Also the gravy that came on the chips was in the bag not on the chips mess of a place pissed off is an understatement

    Been a few times as my sister likes the salt and chilli chicken but everything else on the menu is just sugary syrup for a sauce. Duck was very fatty to the point some pieces were just fat, chicken has been really tough at times which makes me think it's just been over-microwaved to order. Where to start on the girls on the front desk, doesn't seem to matter which of them is working or what day or anything they are always both so rude and clearly hate being there and you being there is an inconvenience to them.

    The Tai Pan has been around In Newry for quite some time, however this does not quite mean it is best. It is quite average for a Chinese takeaway and I feel in recent years the quality of their food has slipped, as it is no longer the go to place it was. Although they still offer a decent curry, the rest of their food leaves a lot to be desired. 5/10

    Has a full range of Chinese cuisine and also a European menu..the including rice, noodle and curry dishes along with all the other favourites..telephone orders accepted for collection and walk in orders the service is fairly quick..it is a clean establishment with the kitchen in full view..the food tastes fantastic and its easy to see why they are popular..definitely recommended

    The best choice in Chinese takeaways in Newry, from what ones I've visited so far. The "Egg fired rice" is my favourite meal on their menu, very tasty and filling. The Chicken Balls, are really nice too, proper chicken breast but I would not go as far to say they are the best in town. I also love the spring rolls that can be had here, there crammed with veg and very tasty, the best in town. They also have the best noodle dishes aswell. Although it must be said that although the tai pan are indeed the best choice for Chinese food, and although their is plenty of competition, the standard in Newry is pretty low as most places are fairly average.
