We had a traumatic experience with our beloved 12 year old JRT at 11.30pm Boxing Day night. Her face rapidly became swollen, her skin was a reddish purple colour etc. she was in a really bad way! In a panic, I called this vet and was greeted with a calm and reassuring receptionist who relayed my information to the vet, the vet quickly put my mind at ease and advised me that our dogβs symptoms sounded like the result of a bite or sting and to give her an antihistamine. Finally after about 20 minutes, she was finally able to settle and the swelling went down considerably. We were lucky that our issue was a simple and quick fix, but without this knowledge, things could have been very different. Thank you so much to the staff who swiftly guided us. We cannot thank you enough. (Pictures were taken before the antihistamine tablet was administered). Delighted that our girl has spent today resting and is looking almost fully back to normal

Our dog, Lexi, was referred for CT scan and subsequently had spinal surgery for a βslipped discβ in Aberdeen. She was so well looked after and we were kept well informed how she was after surgery and during her overnight stay - even receiving pictures and a small video clip which made us all cry (happy) tears! So happy to have Lexi back home and recovering x x

Emergency in the evening, was seen immediately & the vet was fantastic. Price was very reasonable compared with other vets. They treated my super senior (approx 16/17) so well & she is now back to loving her retirement. Canβt fault them.

Brodie was completely shook up after another dog went for him. We were treated straight away. Very attentive. The vet we dealt with put us at total ease and was amazing with Brodie.

I recently had to us the Vets Now out of hours service as our dog took a sudden turn for the worse. I called the number, details were taken and advised to head over. After a short wait I was seen. Sadly my poor dog was very ill and following a discussion with the vet we let her go. Throughout the process I was treated with care and compassion. They arranged for my dogs body to be collected by the Pet Crematorium. I also received a condolences card along with paw prints taken by the vet nurse. Yes, it may seem expensive. But at each point I was advised if the total cost. They also provided full details in a document by email that I was able to send to our pet insurers. The following morning I received a call from my own vet to say she had heard about our dog and she was so sorry to hear about her passing. This was not an easy time for us, but I cannot thank the vet and staff at Vets Now enough for their care and compassion.

My beloved Merlin, my stunning long haired black cat aged only 11.5 had cancer. Heβd done well for several months but then deteriorated rapidly, not eating, losing weight rapidly etc. my own vets wouldnβt help him on his final journey for 5 days!!! A massive thank you to Vets Now for their kindness and compassion and giving him the help he needed when he needed it most. Thank you Vets Now for letting my precious boy to a peaceful place. He didnβt deserve to be left 5 days

We attended Vets Now late night/early morning a few days ago and they were lovely. Extremely helpful from the initial call and very calming. Both Sophie and Hannah (sorry if the names are wrong) helped us with Dwightβs issues and gave us the best advice. I would say I would definitely use again, but hoping I donβt need to and that my cat is forever healthy.

The female vet who attended to my cat couldn't have been nicer or more considerate. I pretty much knew I was taking my cat to the vet to be put to sleep due to the condition she was in. When I phoned to arrange to take my cat in I was a bit shocked that just to turn up would cost Β£318, total bill including euthanasia was Β£432. Was in and out within half an hour. But if you don't want your pet to suffer you just pay it. It's a bit sad that local vets do not seem to provide out of hours emergency services anymore, had I not been able to get a lift I would have also had an expensive taxi fare to Kingswells to pay.
