Ordered a gift online and contacted them because I was having some issues collecting the parcel. Lisa was super, super lovely and called a few minutes after receiving my email (on a Friday late afternoon!). Lisa offered lots of help and I felt so assured that the problem would be fixed quickly. Online shopper here. Purchased Monokel sunglasses on Wednesday, arrived less than 24 hours later. Rapid shipping and bomber packaging (sweeties were a lovely touch), all for the best price around. Will definitely shop here again. Only wish I lived closer so I could visit the shop!
Bought a really lovely oilskin smock for my husband which sadly didn’t fit him (I underestimated his size). The customer service was BRILLIANT and they quickly and easily changed it for a larger size. Great customer service and great quality product. Many thanks. He will hopefully get any years of wear out of it.
Ordered online - very sceptical about ordering from places I haven’t tried and tested, but, my god. My parcel came promptly, in a neat brown taped box. The clothes were even better than I thought they’d be, my receipt came inside a plain black envelope (like I’d gotten a personal thanks from MI6 for saving the nation) with a small collection of sweets too! The attention to detail is unmatched. I really felt the excitement of getting something special when unwrapping my order. So pleased. Already recommended to my friends. I Placed an online purchase. The delivery was prompt along with great presentation. I had to exchange the size again prompt delivery with an added bag of retro sweets, nice touch.
Polite customer service but quite frankly poor. Poor systems - they don't send out courier info, tracking etc. No notification of whether the item is dispatched. On the initial order email there is a track this item link. This is essentially useless. Expects you to download the app "shop", then download a qr scanner, then scan the code. All you're given is the item you've ordered, nothing else. A complete waste of time. Their policies are crazy. Totally geared against the consumer and contrary to the law.
Went in this afternoon with Barbour sizing troubles. Had the sizing difficulties explained to me by one of the team, I didn't get his name but he will know who he is. Great amount of stock, brilliant guy to talk to, really knows his stuff, ended up taking about an hour of his time talking about all things from clothes to cars. Brilliant place, it was an absolute pleasure. I would recommend their services to anyone.
Personally my favourite place in the area for all the Carhartt stuff. Recently did my first online order and received my item with a speed of light. I highly recommend to visit their store in Beverley as it’s a magical place on a Yorkshire map with amazing staff behind TMD project. Definitely will be coming back!
