Ok at best, over £10 for a sausage sandwich that came out mostly cold, with bearly any filling. My partners ‘breakfast sandwich’ came with a poached egg on one side of the already sliced bread that was overcooked. When the lady came to collect the plates we said we weren’t very impressed and she giggled. Im not blaming her she was young but a little appreciation for customer complaints would be good. Also found a hair in it so obviously not great.

We have often been to the parade tearooms in Southsea and love it there so we thought we would give it a go in Gunwharf, to say we were disappointed is an understatement. We ordered Sandwiches and there was no care taken at all, it looked like the filling had been thrown in to two slices of bread, the fillings were not exactly on the generous side and the whole thing just fell apart as soon as you picked it up. Considering one sandwich is £15 I would expect a bit more to be honest. I know from the other parade tearooms the cakes are always good so we definitely had food regret and left feeling very underwhelmed.

Two slices of cheesecake and the vegan salted caramel cake, wow the slices are huge. The cakes are fab and the setting at the edge of Gunwharf is popular. Tables both inside and out. If you love a slice a cake and a cup of tea then this is for you.

The Parade Tea Room knows how to do it all—cozy vibes, delicious drinks, and surprisingly crispy Peri Peri fries! I indulged in a caramel iced coffee (sweet and smooth), the Very Berry Crush tea (fruity perfection), and a classic fruit scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam (heavenly). The Club Parade sandwich was stacked and satisfying, and the Peri Peri fries? A crispy, spicy surprise that I didn’t know I needed. Every bite was a flavor-packed delight. Next time, I’m diving into their cakes because the ones on display looked too good to pass up. This tea room is the perfect mix of tradition and bold twists—absolutely worth a visit (or three)!

Delicious cakes and good coffee. Lots of cakes to choose from, quick service, huge portions. You won’t find such friendly prices and portions in London for sure. Worth a visit!

Just ridiculously delicious food. Best jacket potato I've ever had, and the cakes were unbelievable. Extremely nice, friendly staff too. I wish i lived nearby, but will go there again for sure.

Without a doubt, the best breakfast place you can find in Portsmouth. No joke here: friendly, tasty beautiful decor, organised. I was impressed by the cost/size ratio of all the portions. Generous and lavish cakes, very tasty scones, and the coffee is amazing. You can buy their cakes for around £40, a steal considering how delicious they are! A must in the trendy Gunwharf.
