Thank you to Annika for making me a new coffee when I didn't like the one I ordered. I've been a Costa customer for decades and I love their coffee, so I felt embarrassed to tell them that the coffee I was given just didn't taste right. She made me another one and I so appreciate the excellent service. We will come here again, thank you!
The best costa I have been in. I have been in all the local Costas in Havant, Waterlooville and Portsmouth so I feel like I can say that. The 2 ladies that were there Wednesday morning after opening were really polite but also really efficient. It's a lovely store and the food and coffee were perfect. Thank you, we will be back.
No staff at the till. Stood waiting for service for a good 5 minutes, walked round the side where I found 3 or 4 staff chatting away. When I asked if they were still serving (3 hours before closing time) they proceeded to argue between themselves in front of me about who had to serve me. Not the most welcoming coffee shop experience I've ever had!
We had a small cappuccino and a pot of tea. Both were hot and tasted how you would expect from Costa. The barista was pleasant, the drinks were made quickly and everything was clean and tidy. We sat upstairs which is a little more spacious but cosy, but there is downstairs seating for those that prefer or need that. Both floors have toilets, though I didn't use them so no idea on size/accessibility or cleanliness. There is plenty of parking nearby, including disabled spaces.
Drinks food and service were great, everything ypu expect from Costa. It was however very noisy, we couldn't hear eachother talking.
Very busy took ages to get served tables were messy had to clear away previous customers tray . Like to point out about the toaster that I dont think it is toasting properly this has happened previously at Havant Solent Road store and the toast is only cooked on one side properly,maybe a mechanical check is needed. The young cashier was calm with the queues bless her done her job well
The staff were very attentive the moment I walked in and it made this an incredibly friendly experience. The drink was made quickly with a nice chat to go with it, and the flat white that Tom made for me was so good that I had to attach the picture of it! I was amazed that he was still "in training". Absolutely love this store and always leave the store with a great big smile on my face! Great team, great atmosphere, great coffee :)
