I visited today and witnessed a very rude man shouting at the staff. I use this tea house twice weekly and have always found the staff to be polite and welcoming. They were overwhelmed today with a very long queue, then a gentleman wanting to skip the queue verbally attacked an employee named Sam. It is a great shame that some people think it’s acceptable to speak to hospitality staff this way. I didn’t get a chance to speak with the poor young lady because she was flustered. I have never had a problem here. Thanks for your ongoing great service and excellent sausage rolls :)

I don't often review places but i have decided to do so today as its very much needed. The staff in this tearoom put up with a lot from very rude customers, i watched an incident occur today as i was located in a booth next to it, where a young lady was being shouted at in her face by a rude obnoxious man because he had to queue, like everyone else! Imagine that, she handled the situation very well and remained calm even though she looked very shaken, its such a shame people can be so rude to hospitality staff. The coffee was delicious, the cake was amazing, the staff were very well trained and handled things amazing, its a shame customers can lack such manners, myself and my family will be returning, thank you from all of us!

Lovely tea room. Reasonably priced and the cake was amazing! Found it to be quite busy, however staff were great and very accommodating - sadly the same cannot be said about some of the other customers who were very rude towards staff when they were told they would need to wait for an available table. Great little place and definitely worth a visit

Sam who said she was the Boss was extremely rude as i was protecting my baby granddaughter from the cold which meant going into the tearooms seating area. She said and continued to say we were not allowed in there unless we were in the queue which my daughter was. The fact is I was trying to explain that it was cold outside for the baby and she still wouldn’t let us have a table. She continuesly spoke over me and had no interest in the wellbeing of my baby granddaughter. We will never go back here again.

Friendly staff, better prices than the cafe in the farm, great food and lovely atmosphere. Comfy seating and lovely and toasty warm on a cold winters day.

It’s primarily pre-packaged sandwiches with a small selection of cakes and pastries (sweet and savoury) but we thought all of the food looked good, tasted nice and was reasonably priced. The staff (young and older) were very pleasant and the setting was super. We also really loved the ethos behind the enterprise and will be back to provide further support.

Looked forward to our return visit last weekend. As usual, service was friendly with wonderful range of cakes but oh my days the coffee was atrocious - weak, no flavour and boiling hot (coffee should not be boiled!). The coffee has always been good in the past - I do hope they have not changed to a rubbish brand to save a few pennies.

The best tearooms/café in the area. I come here a few times a week as I live in the surrounding area and it is convenient. I normally have a coffee inside, as the atmosphere is very relaxing and I can study. The people who work here are always welcoming and are great at working together to deliver amazing service and keep the place clean and tidy. The food and drinks taste fantastic, and you can tell that the time and effort is put into them. Vegan and vegetarian friendly. 10/10.

I bought some coffees from here and the ladies behind the counter are lovely. They are so efficient and even though the room is so busy, they are still attentive to each customer. The food also looked delicious - great selection of cakes. Thank you. :) It is a great spot to explore and sit down or takeaway a coffee. There are loos too, which are very well kept.
