   Only ever use the store for online collections as the in store selection is so poor despite it being a relatively large one. Collection has sometimes been slow but for the most part is quick and efficient. Had an issue returning things once as they were questioning why I’d never opened the parcel (the event I had bought the outfit for got cancelled literally the same day I collected it so there was no point in even opening it). Parking is usually okay but be wary of parking restrictions.

   Fabulous lady at the Grimsby Victoria retail park branch.Sorted our missing bar stools out,which have this afternoon, now been delivered. Its the lady who was once the manager. Reviewing here,as i lost the card to scan and review she gave me. Been shopping here for years,lovely store.

   I bought a pair of jeans in Birmingham on Friday as I was there for work, got home to Grimsby tried them and decided they didn’t fit so good so took them back to this Grimsby branch. I tried on the exact same jeans and the fitted better (I’ve noticed over the years of being a Next jeans buyer batches vary in fit). I went to till to exchange, but the jeans I bought in B’ham were £25 and the exact same jeans in GY were £28. They said I’d have to pay the difference! And I said I wanted a manager to over ride the price and just exchange. They then just kept saying that the jeans shouldn’t have been sold at that price as the price increase was in May and then asking why I wanted to swap the jeans! I told them why I wanted to swap the jeans and had no idea why the prices were different! It’s their system not mine! They refused to over ride the £3 difference! In the end I left the jeans and other stuff I was going to buy as I started to feel a bit humiliated by the whole thing! Ironically for the insisting ‘they should be £28’ the refund was for still for £25!!! I left and immediately complained to head office, got an apology (and they said the manager should have adjusted the price accordingly) and a £10 voucher is in the post. Still miffed by the whole episode though, they made me feel like I was trying to pull a fast one!!

   Wanted to return an expensive jumper which was bought as a present for me a while ago which had literally gone into holes after one wash and was undoubtedly faulty. I had no receipt as it was a present. The manager would not do a thing about it as had no receipt but could see it was clearly faulty. Terrible customer service. I spend a lot of money a year in Next, And now I will never shop there again.

   Avoid like plague. Beware of the sneaky parking attendant in plain clothes, driving around the car park in a silver audi A1 (A065 XFJ) randomly issuing fines. The way she kept staring at me, I registered the vehicle number in my mind since looked like she might break into my car when I was gone to the shop.
