I have used this garage a few times before and always received exceptional service and today was no different. Over the last couple of days I noticed a squealing noise coming from somewhere in the car and today I found smoke under the bonnet and oil leakage. I phoned the garage and shortly after took my car round. I was called first when they diagnosed the problems (loose steering belt and corroded oil filter) which was less than half an hour after I dropped it off; and again as soon as they'd finished with it. I got my car back roughly an hour and a half back after taking it in; could you ask for better? These gentlemen are personable; conduct top quality swift repairs and charge a very reasonable rate. I recommend them to everyone I can and will return year on year to use their services.
Here’s a story for the books; I’m from California, I’ve talked with the proprietor of the shop on a few occasions as we share some similar interests. This past May my wife and I were visiting family in Europe and realized our car needed brakes. A shop in Poland said they would get us to England, but not back. I had a look and agreed. Well, the shop was a bit pricey and would set us back on our departure date, so I contacted the proprietor of St Francis Motor Services who gave us a price that was much more reasonable. So we set out on our trip across Europe covering a lot of ground in a few days to finally arrive in England on a weekend. We made the drive from Winchester to Portsmouth on Monday and met with the proprietor who not only replaced our brakes, but went above and beyond for us. The proprietor is very honest and up front as well as accommodating. It was a great experience and if you’re in the area I’d highly recommend stopping in, even if it’s just for a chat.
