Very helpful staff who will give honest advice. Unfortunately their prices are very expensive, but they do have a superb range of gas fittings, hardware etc. they also have appliances - I can't say how competitive they are for these.
I had a Heta wood burner from Brownes installed almost a month ago. I had excellent pre-purchase & post installation advice from Clarke. Installation was both prompt & smooth by Stephen - again great advice for getting the best from my new burner. Easy to use, surprisingly efficient & clean with plenty of heat. I highly recommend Brownes for a great service.

Absolutely delighted with our new stove! First class service from the team at Browne’s Ardglass. Good knowledge from any staff we dealt with. Good advice based on size of opening as to what size of stove to choose. We were able to get the complete package from stove purchase through to fitting. Added bonus to be able to purchase stone for the back and beautiful hearth direct from Browne’s too. Also, came out at very short notice to sort out a gas hob connection. Staff are pleasant to deal with, showroom has a great selection to browse. All in all a great company to deal with! Thank you!
Clarke was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful when it came to choosing our stove. He even arranged for a fitter to come look at our existing set-up, and had a quote back to us the day following. Nothing was a bother, and we’d our new stove fitted a lot sooner than first thought, due to a cancellation. We’re very pleased with the end result and would highly recommend. Thank you Clarke.
