    Great service from Nigel and his team! He attended promptly and fixed our dishwasher! I thought I would have needed to pay for a new one but saved on the hassle and the £££! Professional service! Would reccomend!

    NOT RECOMMENDING THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE THEY CALL ME AND ASKED TO CHANGE NEGATIVE REVIEW ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE AND AS SOON I DONE IT THEY BLOCKED ME. SO LOOKS LIKE THEY TRYING INTENTIONALLY OUTSMART THEIR CUSTOMERS, UNFORTUNATELY NOT SUCCESSFUL... I recently used their services, unfortunately, but I was completely disappointed. The thing is that I visited them yesterday and gave them all the information about my broken refrigerator, which is not more than three years old. I also showed a video where you can see the panel at the back of the refrigerator, under which a hidden part should probably be replaced, which was later confirmed by the engineer they sent, and he also said that if the replaced part does not solve the problem, then the refrigerator should be thrown away. So why do they still send me that engineer for that extra Β£70 charge instead of having an experienced business fix something so simple without an engineer? After all, they knew all the necessary information about the refrigerator because I gave them all the necessary information on the spot. But they still said they would send an engineer to figure out what was wrong. Really? They claim their business has been in business since 1969, so why can't they, as an experienced and professional business, find the part themselves based on all the information provided, avoiding an additional engineer fee to the customer? Especially since the Β£70 fee for an engineer's visit is not small and not only is it non-refundable but also not included in the final repair amount, regardless of whether it can be fixed or not. The engineer's visit did not last even three minutes and he said the same thing that they could have done without him visiting me or I could have unscrewed that part myself with a screwdriver and brought it to them to order that part.. After the engineer's visit, they called me back and said that the part would cost me an extra Β£216 on top of the Β£70 I already paid for the engineer to visit me. So in total it will cost me Β£286. Some absurdity, after all, I live just 500 yards from their shop.. I have, of course, Icanceled further business with this business to avoid paying an extra Β£216 to fix the fridge as they make no guarantees that the part will fix the fault. It also sounds absurd to pay a total of Β£286 when I paid Β£400 for a new fridge. I understand they need to pay for an engineer to visit, but I can't understand why a company that has been in business this long can't order the part themselves from their suppliers or have their own engineer to work for them. I also think charging Β£216 for a part when the new fridge itself costs Β£400 sounds a little off and either they are still putting a big markup on that part or they should look for a new parts supplier because people really don't sleep on a bag of money and certainly not everyone can afford it to allow payment of such sums for repair. And it seems to them that it is very useful, because if they don't sell any parts, they at least charge for an engineer's visit, which does not provide any guarantees that the problem will be solved. It all looks like a very clever fraud scheme, unfortunately not for the benefit of the customer.

    Have a dual fuel range cooker and it broke down. This company we’re happy to help. Office staff were organised and responsive. Great service from the engineer Nigel who was very polite and accommodating and a credit to this company. Would highly recommend and will use again!

    Replaced a cooker control unit on my range cooker. It was easy to book an appointment and explain what needed repair. Call out charges were explained at time of booking. Nigel from GTE called ahead and arrived on time with the correct part. The work was carried out quickly, professionally and without any fuss. Would have no hesitation using GTE for any future repairs and recommend them wholeheartedly.

    Ive used Nigel at GT Electrical for my dishwasher and washing machine repairs last year and have been really pleased with his work. Always professional, prompt, approachable, great value and most importantly gets the machines working again so I didn't need to replace!

    Very disappointed as we had an engineer come round as my dishwasher was flood our kitchen. He took it apart and filled with some of the parts, tried it and it seemed ok. I said I thought the pipe may be partially blocked but he dismissed this as the pipe work was as the rear of units. As it was working he said that he was sure it was a certain part and if it happened again it would definitely mean that we needed a new dishwasher, even though it was only a couple of years old, still insisting it was not the pipe work. I was charged Β£69.95 for absolutely nothing. Needless to say it happened again and I called in our plumbers as I was sure it was the pipe work and it was. So had the pipe work sorted and not a new dishwasher. Thank you G T Electrical I certainly won’t be recommending you you anyone.

    100% as always. An appointment was made 2 days after contacting them at my convenience. Paid initial call out charge, then just new parts required to fix leak in washing machine. Very reasonable, highly professional and friendly team. Always my go to. Has saved me potentially hundreds in not needing to buy another washer. Very, very satisfied
