   Ups and downs. Like a roller coaster ride with our designer, very pleasant but lack of her experience gave us many headaches and lots of paperwork. All resolved eventually. My advice double check everything, colours of plinths to cupboards, finishing and oiling of wooden worktops, sizing and availability of fitted microwaves, we were stuck with Howdens own turntable design at great expense. Not what we asked for at all, even the cupboard handles were wrong. All mistakes rectified and some minor ones compensated a little for but should Never have happened. The kitchen fitters were excellent, recommended by Howdens, solving some of Howdens failures in design and supply. It just gets worse JUST WHEN I THINK ALL RESOLVED AND A FINAL FIGURE FROM BETH I DONT,,,, I have another ..this is the definite final figure.. ( I darent list how many times I have heard that now ) so after going into branch again..as only way I can reach someone. Beth as I’m told it must be Beth. All invoices, credit notes, are put onto wall on screen..I asked for each to be printed with overview. Only invoices and credits can be printed, I am advised. Not the listed overview. I was given a a total. I am assured I have all relevant papers to reach the same total, I get home add the figures, debits and credits, nothing like figure I was once again assured was right. So I telephone. Beth not available but , however, I recognise the person answering, I believe he said Conner, Management, well he went through all the papers Beth gave me and there were missing ones. He would post immediately. 1 week later and still not here. No surprise there. Also , yes you’ve guessed it. His final amount did not match Beths either. YOU COULDNT MAKE IT UP.. So if anyone from Howdens upper management read this. Perhaps you can provide every credit note and invoice to this case. I have a list of figures given by and, checked with Conner during telephone conversation to some of the the paperwork I have, from Beth, different total to Beth’s. His figures add up, however, he could be making up the missing documents to provide those figures. What a farse..
