   My mum is visually impaired and after doing some research the iPad sounded perfect. Unfortunately the staff did not have the knowledge on how the iPad could help apart from saying you can zoom in! After explaining the Apple store said it had has many functions for visually impaired people we we're told to Google this information ourselves from a member of staff who walked away while the other staff member didn't have a clue either. No surprise we didn't buy the iPad from Currys and will heading back to the Apple Store .

   Always have a wide range of tech to check out in store! Last time I went I got my new phone ordered in store for delivery the next day which arrived on time! I was waiting for an important phone call within the next two days so for the delivery to be on time was important!

   I popped into Currys Grimsby to buy a Nintendo Switch 2 and was helped by Andy after myself was looking a tad lost and confused. He was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He really knew his stuff, explained all the options clearly, and made sure I got the best bundle for what I needed. Nothing felt rushed or pushy — just friendly, genuine advice. Thanks to Andy, the whole process was quick, easy, and stress-free. I left the store confident I’d made the right choice. Highly recommend speaking to him if you’re looking for gaming advice or buying a new console!

   Visited the store to buy a laptop — I already knew exactly which model I wanted and had found it in stock. I wasn’t there to browse. After waiting a few minutes near the laptop, expecting one of the many staff members standing around to offer help, no one approached me. I eventually went over to a group of four staff members who were chatting about their social lives. I had to interrupt them to ask for assistance. One of them told me that “someone will be along shortly,” even though they themselves appeared to be doing nothing. After waiting another five minutes with no help — and seeing that same staff member still idle — I gave up and walked out. Absolutely shocking customer service. It’s beyond me what the issue was — lack of training or simply the wrong people for the job?

   Took a chance on an in store experience, no items on display again (wanted a gaming pc) given 5 stars as the young lady at the desk knew her stuff, found what we were looking for on their website and narrowed it down to four PC setups for us based on our wants and budget. We were then able to go home and decide between the four pcs and have ordered one for our sons birthday. Had I known more, I would normally avoid it in store, but this time, thanks to the staff member, it was worthwhile. Love currys products, and delivery was free the next day. We always purchase our technology from there, so overall, great experience this time.

   They did not have the audio wire I needed for hi fi speakers which surprised me. However, staff member said to go to B&Q. I still left with a new TV. Very good service. Very slimmed down range. Come on audio cable

   Despite having to take a ticket for an assistant to come to serve us, the wait was only about 15 minutes, very impressed. Guy that served us was pleasant, friendly and helpful. Vacuum cleaner we bought was well priced.

   staff are very helpful once you get one. seem to be waiting a long time though. i guess the delay is making sure customers are satisfied. i ended up giving one of the customers advice on something i knew about which ended up on a sale . i should be employed...lol
