Great shop, friendly staff, well stocked, lots of items in the store cheaper than online. I wanted small square plastic pots to grow on the vegetable seedlings in my greenhouse. Online 10 for £3.50 - in the store 15 for £1.50. Took a while to find some items as they were quite a distance from where you would expect, but the lady I asked quickly pointed out where I should look. A box a cheap tissues were way over other places price but all in all you save going there. An EXCELLENT range of seeds well below garden centre prices. I saw some priced at 50p that I had bought in a garden centre on the way to Beverly for £2.99

I don't know if it's because the store is full of Christmas stuff but the DIY, motoring and bike areas looked like they hadn't been restocked in weeks. I couldn't find what I wanted and left without spending a penny. There was a nice collection of LED filament lamps but again the one I really liked was not on the shelf.

A lovely lady called Beverly helped me a lot with a cat bed I was hunting for. She was friendly and helpful. I would like to give a positive customer review of her for this store. How can I do this?

Crikey! Sad refection on Hull when Wilko seems to be the best store in the city centre. Even sadder on the city, when bottles of fabric conditioner have to be security tagged!

Good shops always bargains to be had. Polite staff clean shop. Staff wearing face masks. Good to see. Still great bargains. Only one till to take cash very long queue to pay but two staff shouting for you to pay by card. Out of a queue of ten people no one wanted to pay with card . So two staff doing nothing yet a long queue at the other till. Does that not say something

This is interesting store based purely on the wide range and enormous scope of the products they sell. Always a little difficult trying to find floor staff to get guidance from but this can be overcome by heading back to the main entrance were a help desk is located and usually one or two staff members around to assist. Prices on everything are reasonable and the tool and decorating section is good but could do with stocking up more regularly on emulsion shades - some only single cans.
