An absolutely stunning lunch, best meal I’ve had in ages. The staff were so lovely and attentive. The cake was sensational. I honestly can’t recommend Ruby Ellen’s enough, an absolute must if you’re in Carlingford!

You will enjoy this quaint, colourful place. Had a ham, cheess, tomato and onion toastie which includes cole slaw and a salad. All was wonderful. Be aware: CASH ONLY (they accepted Pounds Sterling, although located in the Republic of Ireland where Euros are expected).

What a delightful place. Old world tea rooms with modern food. The decor was beautiful. The staff were so lovely. Only fault.......just the one toilet

Love this colourful, quirky, airy, bright spot with an ocean view and a dog friendly area. The toasties are very satisfying, and the cakes are incredibly delicious with a variety to choose from such as pavalova, strawberry gateau, lemon drizzle etc.. Staff are welcoming and chatty, with good customer service. The only 'down' side is it's cash only. Have always had a pleasant experience and recommend you try it out.

Had afternoon tea there today, absolutely gorgeous, full of flavours and so fresh. Staff some of the most friendly I have come across. A must visit in Carlingford you won't regret it.

It's like a traditional tea house that you miss from a long time ago. Lovely food and great service. Highly recommend Ruby Ellen's bagel with smoked salmon and crab we saw the next table having it. Will definitely go back to try it next time.

Had a lovely Sunday morning breakfast in this open air café. Even though they were under a bit of pressure with a lot of customers the food arrived fast and service or quality didn't suffer. Really good place to bring a child too, felt right at home with our 1 year old.

My favourite place ever. Incredible decorations, fantastic cakes: pavlova, carrot cakes, lemon merengue, almond and coconut cake, apple tart and much much more, teas(my favourite green tea)and coffe. Staff is very friendly and helpful with huge portion of good humor. Love that place and visit whenever I'm in Carlingford. Highly recommend this caffe. They have also or maybe first of all breakfast and lunch menu.
