   Came across this coffee shop while out on a bike ride. Coffee and buns were amazing, staff excellent and friendly. Great seating areas outside and indoor if the weather is not great.

   I found The Lane to be spotlessly clean and tidy, as were the benches at the outside table area. As soon as I arrived I was welcomed by the friendly ladies behind the counter who prepared my bap and coffee without any delay. The coffee was freshly brewed and tasted delicious. (Much more flavour than the well known chain coffee shops). The Lane seems to have a very friendly atmosphere. I was there for about 30 minutes and during that time there was a steady stream of visitors who all chatted and passed the time of day with one and other, including me; a stranger. The food & coffee, the warm welcome and a few minutes chatting with other customers made it a very relaxing coffee break. This was my first visit to The Lane but I'll definitely return.

   Finally got around to visiting The Lane and we were not disappointed! Lovely smooth coffee, delicious homemade sausage roll and I had the warm apple and cinnamon roll. Utterly gorgeous and we will be back very soon!

   This is a hidden gem. We went on a Santa experience with my 4 year old boys? The coffee hut made it a very special event for all the families there. The boys received a personalised gift bag with treats in them from santa. My boys had an amazing time. We also had a great time with the friendly atmosphere created there by the staff.
