   Millie did an absolutely insane job on my balayage today. From being dissapointed by other salons to losing all confidence in my hair, I came to Garbos not expecting to be as happy as I am with my new hair. She listened perfectly to what I wanted from the tome of my hair to the cut and it shows, honestly couldn’t be more happy and confident ☺️Thankyou so much Millie you’ve smashed it x

   Wade is passionate about hairdressing as an art. He gently guided me to ideas to suit my face shape and colouring. I liked his opinions. He carefully separated each strand of hair for every colour foil, unconcerned at the time it took. He could envisage the outcome he sought. The best part of my five hours with Wade was watching him cut. I sat like a Cheshire cat, with a grin from ear to ear, enjoying his intense concentration. Very occasionally his tongue poked out as he worked. Laughing, Wade told me this achieved better results. For him, a good haircut was a work of art and obviously brought him great satisfaction. Each snip counted. He wasn’t in a hurry. His goal was to do the best job he could and to help every customer look and feel the best they can. He certainly achieved that with me. It was one of the most enjoyable five hours in a salon I’ve ever experienced, and I thought he did an excellent job of my colour and cut. He was fun to chat with, too.

   I was disappointed in this place after two visits. I had to pay in advance -like they did not trust me to turn up or have my hair done. I was complimentary at the time but when I got home found that there was a full inch difference between left and right side and I did not want a square cut at the back. (I wanted rounded). I was so shocked to be charged £61 on completion of a simple cut and blow-dry that I just walked out. First visit I was charged £45-?something. I shall not return.

   Everything about my visit today was excellent, the welcome, the comfy salon chairs, the atmosphere but the icing on the cake was Wade. He took the time to listen to what I wanted and went on to give an amazing cut. Thank you so much, I will definitely be back.

   Wade is an excellent hairdresser - I am always very happy with his cutting and styling. He is a real tonic, always makes me laugh and is very knowledgeable and always able to recommend products or discuss why something won't work or be as useful. The salon is lovely - light and airy so really pleasant to enter and be in and all of the staff are really friendly and helpful. Hope to continue coming to Garbos for ever!!!
